For some people, NEW is more of a refresher course for things they 'know' deep down.  Ponder that.

You girlfriend needs to 'ground'.  That's the term for channeling the excess emotions to the earth.  There are multiple ways to do it, depending on her skillset.  Just walking barefoot in a peaceful stretch of woods or a park and picturing all the excess emotions draining out into the earth can help immensely.

You mother sounds like a physchic vampire.  That's not as bad as it sounds, she doesn't do it conciously.  It is a real issue, and she can get upset when people 'fight' her.  My mom is the same way, which is why I don't see her often.

Your brother and you are just in tune.  In fact your whole family seems talented (conciously or unconciously)

Crazy?  No.  There are actually quite logical explanations for everything.  It sort of depends on what your willing to believe, and if you can sort out what's right and whats total crap.  But then the road to enlightenment is like that []

Hmmm I've read up on psychic vampires, not sure if I like the sound of them, although I admit, not all but many of the characteristics describe my mother....

As far as what i'm willing to believe I'm pretty open to what could be out there, there is so much the human race doesn't understand, what I'm just concerned about is how much is wild imagination, how much is real....

Hi this is my first post on these forums, I found this site when I stumbled upon the NEW system about a month ago, and have since become quite proficient at that.

I'm kinda new to all this stuff really and I was hoping I could throw out a few wierd things in my life and those around me and see if anyone new anything that could be reasons behind them.

I've had many wierd things happen to me and those around me throughout my life and at 18 in the last year I've been noticing things a lot more prompting me to look things up and finding this site.

I seem to have learnt the NEW system EXTREMELY quickly and even though I know its suppose to be a quick method of learning, damn it was quick. I can run my hand over a persons body and it will tingle a lot more when passing over major chakras, except when the person I can only assume has drained them (when I come across this they always do appear physically tired and drained).
I've had several occurences where upon just touching a computer it started doing strange things that its not suppose to do (although this has really only ever happened to me once with one computer in particular - an old teacher/friend of mine in the classroom, it was a standing joke in the class that whenever I would go do something on it, it would go crazy) Recently I got a little freaked out when I zapped myself on a dead light bulb, the filimant was broken and everything, a customer at work had given to me to throw in the bin after bying a replacement as soon as I touched it it started zapping me until I threw it in the bin.
I've also tried affecting fire whilst pondering and kinda daydreaming in the past and have noticed it sometimes done what I willed it to do, although I always summed this up to coincidence in the past, now I wonder otherwise.
I had the strangest .... vision is the only term I can think of that could apply several months back, it was almost like memories, except most definately not my memories, memories of other people, in times not of our own. Past lives maybe?

Enough of me, onto those around me....

My girlfriend from what we can both tell is an extremely powerful empath. Unfortunately she appears to have very little control over it, and ends up getting emotion after emotion piled ontop of her from everone everywhere to the state she is an emotional wreck half the time. She can feel my intense emotions from large distances, different cities, and has been known on many occasions to accurately tell when I've gone to sleep after being really emotional on a particular night because my emotions have quitened down. It is a huge strain on our relationship a lot of the time because she is so emotional and depressed half the time. Is there anyway she can gain control of this?

My mother, people around her often feel emotionally and physically drained when around her, maybe thats just to do with her manipulative personality who knows, although she's a scientist minded person and doesn't believe in all this stuff, she's had wierd things happen, including the strange fact that she can never wear a watch for very long because a watch she wears will have its battery drained very quickly.

My brother on several occasions in the last year has asked me what I was doing at a particular time on a particular day, when I ask why he would say he felt an extreme intense feeling of something, and that something was exactly what I was feeling due to a situation I was in at that exact time on that day.

My uncle, who seems to be able to sense lies among things, can describe a person, there look, mannerisms etc  of a person he's never met from listening to one story of the person from a friend...


These are just a few things I've thought of on the top of my head at this time of night.... just wondering, is this stuff normal, am I going crazy and letting my imagination getting the better of me or is there reasons for all this?

It's not that the majority of the human race doesnt understand, It's just that a lot of people were brought up in a normal family enviornment and won belive anything they were not taught. Some people stick with the idea of science. If it doesnt follow those laws, then it is impossible.

Some people would be open to ideas of what is out there, but simply are not aware of the possibilites and will go out through this life never knowing about them.
