The Old Bustle is Gone?

When I first joined this forum, there were SO many people, and SO many active topics it was almost ridiculous (and so were some of the posts lol).  But now, I come back and see that the old bustle is gone, and there are less active topics.  Anyone else notice this?  Or am I just pulling ish outta my butt.

I think there was a problem with the email notification. I never got one letting me know that this place was back in business  so maybe it's quiet because there are still a few people missing.

Most people bookmarked the main forums link.  That is dead and won't ever be back, so when they 'check' it, it's still down.  How about an Admin Email Adrian and suggest they re-direct the old link to the new main forum link?

I came on this morning and there are 71 new posts.   So it can't be all that bad.    

Plus there were alot of emails that weren't valid, so there was no way to get in touch with these ppl.  Frankly if they weren't willing to give a valid email address then I prefer if they don't visit our forums.

Actually the "old" link works fine it just brings you here ... that's how I got here I clicked it by accident and found out the pulse was back

Don't worry, the Astral Pulse is alive and well!

There are several issues. The main one is that many members did not have a valid email address and cannot reset their passwords. Of course I will reset an email address but I think many of those members had expired mail addresses for reasons of their own.

I did email everyone about the new forums, but many members have got Yahoo, Hotmail and AOL accounts which ten dto block large scale email, even if it is genuine.

Everyone can reach the site by the previous URL so that isn't an issue.

This is only a temporary lull, and there are plenty of new members joining every day.
