taking break from astral projection excersise

Hello all, i've been a member here for probably about a year (EDIT: 6 months :) ), but haven't posted in months. Nice to be back. I've decided to take a break from my astral projection excercises, and work on meditation. To me, meditation is the key to accessing higher planes of consciousness. I'm sure that if i meditate long enough, i too can see the same planes RB does. Anybody in aggreeance that meditation is the key?

Of course you can access higher planes of consciousness with meditation, but it's hard work, and there are better things that you can achieve with it like complete control over emotions and thoughts, and mind states of total awareness.

I agree, yet i meant that my astral projection 'work' should be much easier after much meditation. Not that meditation will bring me to these planes, but help me with my energy, and many other things needed for astral projection. Thank you for your reply.

If you want to make astral projection easier, then you should use trance meditation, and Vipassana meditation. And the good thing is that during a trance meditation you can have experience similar to OOBE, but without exit symptoms...
