Aliester Crowley wasn't a Satanist.

Interesting. Hard to prove, like anything else, but interesting nonetheless.
If but we knew the power of our thoughts we would guard them more closely.

Dear aryanknight666,

Well, it is claimed he did torture and murder his cat horrifying his poor mother.  If this is true and since I love cats I would call Aliester Crowley a Satanist.  Much of his work was focused on power, ego and working with the darker forces.  Aliester's ego was legendary.  But then it is all a matter of definitions.  How do you define a satanist?

So -- if I torture my cat that makes me a Satanist?
I define Satanism as it is factually so, not relying of phoney SRA cases, bovine excrement sterotypes and christian propaganda. I am a Satanist. You , as it is the nature of the right hand path, have made an assumption without any real knowledge or experience with or of what you speak of, and have simply accepted what you have been brainwashed to beleif, thus is the sheep/herd mentality.
If you want to educate and enlighten yourself on Satanism,
then I suggest

www.churchofsatan.com
www.temple666.com
www.joyofsatan.com

and use search engine and look in the links section of those sites.
It is also obvious that crowley didn't horrifyingly torture his cat, this is obviously christian propaganda which you have swallowed.

Actually, i read the article again and found it even more interesting the second time through. Now, my understanding was that "greys" were also known as Zetas, not Lams. I could be wrong. This is actually the first time i'd heard of Lams and i didn't know that Crowley was so involved with their invocation. (The whole article also sounds suspiciously like a cthulhu story i'm reading). I've also read in other circles that the Greys are good and evil and no better and worse than humans. Some have our best interests in mind, while others don't. The gist of the very little i know about the greys is that they should mind their own evolution and leave us to ours.

QUOTE from ARTICLE: "It is interesting to note that since Crowley's time, in occult terms at least, Lam is considered a class of entity rather than an individual being. When one invokes Lam, they are invoking an entity of that type, rather than a specific being. For occultists operating along O.T.O. lines, the idea is to invoke these Lam entities through Magickal Portals (intentionally created rents in time and space) into physical manifestation on planet earth. Why this is desirable is not always so clearly stated. (It often appears that within Crowleyian circles the working rule is often: "If Crowley did it, I want to do it, too.")"

I found this the most interesting part. Yes, beings can be invoked, but should they? I suppose there are very few people who can answer that. I personally do believe that humans are rapidly ascending the evolutionary ladder. Spirituality, OBE, ET encounters, magic and other occult resources are growing. The dangers of such contact are evident as well: increased lower astral entities and psychic and karmic backlash. Personally, i wouldn't want to put too much faith in extraterrestrials associated with the questionable motives of cults, lodges, and religious orders.

Dear aryanknight666,

You do not know me and you obviously do not have a sense of humour.  The cat comment was a joke.  Though I likely would not like you all that much if you killed my cat.  Dear me.  What is life without humour?  I thought Satan had a sense of humour?  The energies you have embued within yourself are not energies I would want.  It is my choice.  My right to make that choice.  But if you will note I did not make any assumptions.  I asked a question.  I asked for your definition.  There is no need to discombobulate yourself so easily over what I said.

After all aryan knight....who am I?  Not someone you would care to know or associate with in life so why worry about me on the board?  Each person will decide for themselves.  Though I am wondering, it does not seem like you are interested in Robert's work so why are you here?

Your previous post did not have any humor tone to it whatsoever.  You're getting alittle egomanical there buddy.

violetrose

Dear magickdan,

Sorry, I will use emotiocons in the future.    There are many people who do not like cats and terminate them, especially strays, but I would not consider them Satanists.

Though you likely realize it...I am a girl.  It is just buddy is usually used for a guy.  Could you explain why you feel I am egomanical? :?:    No problem being frank with me.  I do not mind.  Unfortunately I do not fully understand why you arrived at this perception.

Sorry bout that last part of the post I think I was half asleep and wasn't realizing what I was typing.  In fact I hardly remember even typing that.  I was like zoned out and someone else was typing.  :?

violetrose

Dear magickdan,

No problem. I thought maybe something I wrote in another thread might have triggered your response, in which case I would want to let you know that when I write on this board it is just my perception or how I dealt with something.  That does not make it right or best or truth.  If what I write clicks with someone great!  If not I do not want people to feel I am trying to get their goat or their sheep or whatever.

Best to ya,

Wow, that is an incredibly detailed, very informative article.  Thanks for the link.

narfellus

Do all of the conspiracy theories make your head spin? I mean, anything is possible really, it's hard if not impossible to say with any impunity what is real or not unless one has experienced him/herself. Even then, given the nature of whacky energy and drugs, where does sanity and madness diverge? Still, a very fascinating article.

Well I'm what you call an astral abductee and it has taken years for me to entirely understand what that meant even a litte, and I am still learning.

Yes the conspiracy theories do make my head spin, problem is some of it has a little truth with a little lie. The challenge is how to separate the two.

Andro, do you mind explaining what you mean a little more?
