"bug" in emoticons

When I posted a message a while ago and looked at it again recently I noticed that 8 ) (without the space) became  which when listing stuff was a bit annoying, such as in this post:

That's not a "bug" it just happens to be standard emoticon code for that smilie. You can always check the "Disable Smilies in this post" checkbox to turn it off or you can just do this 8)

A work around is also to add [b][/b] between 8 and ). Or you can use [list=1]

to list things.
