interesting LOL maybe I should look at the bottles more,well anyways im alright now I got some vicodin from my GFs'  grandma.Too bad I hadnt got them sooner.Its been more than a few days already where the pain has been really bad.Better late than ever right..

Have you tried putting your hand up to your ear and running some energy from your hand through your ear? You don't have to have your hand in direct contact with your ear. We do a lot more practice sensitizing the hands for working with energy than we do the outer ears. It is a lot easier to use your hands for healing as a result. It is not just reiki which uses the hands most. I have read that a bright red is a good color to use for infection, but I have not really had much luck with using different colors. Sinus infections get me from time to time when I forget to take enough medicine for allergies.

Is it the pressure of the headphones or the volume which bothers your ears?

i just got over what i consider to be the worst toothache and the worst pain that i've ever been in. i've needed a root canal for a while, and after a series of dentist appointments i finally got it fixed.  the time in between was horrible. the pain was so bad that it reached from the left side of the top of my head, down to about mid chest.  it felt like  i was being stabbed, everywhere it hurt.  before i got the vicodin prescribed to me, i found refuge in lying there and doing NEW to the point where my entire body would tingle like crazy.  it definetly numbed the pain.  it kind of spread it all over my body but lessened it the more it spread.  anyway, it made it bearable.  the vicodin however, took it almost completely away.  they also put me right into a full trance when  i stopped moving. the energy sensations were incredible.

have you ever heard of brown eyed susan we used to call them Nig*er naivles. (vulgur I know) any how pull up the root and boil the root the juice from cooking the root will cure earache and dropsy

I wonder if excess energy can build up in your ears and aggrivate a starting infection?  I experience pressure changes in my ears at times that I contribute mainly to energy because of shield usage.

Your doc must know if your infection is bacterial - but if it is the antibiotics will take care of the pain in a day or two.

I had an ear infection three years ago. Incredibly painful. Like a knife in my head. I still don't hear perfectly in that ear but at least it feels okay since the infection cleared.

While on the topic of ears, does anyone know of a good remedy for tinnitus (ringing in the ears)?

I've had this problem for over a year now. The volume is only quite soft, but still enough to be an obvious pain in the #### when trying to meditate etc.

It's most probably due to loud noise exposure, as I've spent the past few years playing in bands (guitarist) with the volume reaching some insane levels. I've learnt my lesson now, and I've moved on to visual arts instead.

My hearing is fine. I had a hearing test confirm this, right before the whole music/band thing fell apart. So now I just need to get rid of this damn ringing in my ears.

I've tried ginko biloba: Didn't notice any change
           ear candles: Didn't notice any change. Maybe they would work if I   used  them for longer but they're way too expensive for me.
           garlic oil dropped in the ears: again didn't notice any change.

Any suggestions?
I've kind of just been hoping that it would go away by itself. But now, a year later, I realise its time to really do something about this.
Doctors that I've talked to seem to know very little about it, and have offered no help.

heres an update on the ear,

The pain is pretty much gone.Except for a maybe a little stab now and than.Not enough to use the vicodin.Yesterday I just went back to the advil,today is much better and Ive not taken anything.

I forgot to mention that the doctor gave me a little glass bottle with some kind of liquid to put in my ear.They are antibiotics I think.Ive been using those drops twice a day like he told me.

The only thing that is really  bothering me still is,I can not hear much out of the ear.Thats why I was having trouble listening to the cds.Ive got an appointment tommorow.I guess its going to take some time to get my hearing back.

I did try to use my energy to heal it.But It didnt really do much for me when it was really painful.But these  past 2 days I tried it out with the red color.I could feel a soothing warmth all over my ear.

Funny thing is I probably could of avoided alot of pain,If I went to the doctors sooner.I knew something was wrong way before.But I thought It would go away.I tried to fix it myself with hydrogen peroxide and olive oil.That was when it really started getting bad.

Note:i think it may have come from having water in my ear after a bath,my best guess..

Just my luck,Turns out I have this huge infection in my ear.It feels like daggers.I cant even listen to my new wave 1 cds.http://www.astralpulse.com/forums/images/icon_Smile_tongue.gif" border=0>Not hearing much but that sea shell sound.If you know what I mean.

They refuse to give me any good painkillers.So im stuck with advil and Ibuprofin.I just popped 2 advil.Ibuprofin dont seem to do anything for the pain.I took 4  last night and nothing.I woke up and the whole right side of my head was hurting.

Anything that may be better?I keep trying to tell my self that pain is not real.That its just electric impulses,that does make it a bit easier to deal with.But the pain is always there.Wouldnt it be great if you could just cut those off at will?
