When someone gets sick is it possible for energy development to become more difficult?

Hmmm... I don't have experience with this specifically, but  I don't think it would.  To my understanding, it would be beneficial to do energy work while sick.  Maybe, since your body is using lots of energy to fight the sickness, you would feel drained more easily?  However, I think it shouldn't have a great effect on your energy work.

BMW has a good point, it may weaken you further. If, however, you're at the stage where you can raise energy, then yes, it probably would be good to do so you have more energy to fight off the disease.

My experience is that if you have some practice at pulling in large amounts of energy it has a strengthening effect on the immune system.  Since I began practicing NEW about a year ago, I haven't been sick with a cold or flu once.

Also, I read once in some spiritual writings that when you have a lot of energy it radiates out of your pores and makes a kind of shield against infection.

cant that kinda mess w ith electronic stuff? Most people probably dont have enough energy to really effect there surroundings like that anyway I think but I am wrong alot on this stuff so..

Hey star,
  If you're just starting out with energy work, I wouln't worry too much about affecting electronics.  That might happen later, once you've become very good at energy work, but not in the beginning.    As Tyciol was saying, energy work will benefit your immune system.  Now that he mentioned it, I can't remember getting sick since I started energy work a year ago... interesting.  Have fun with your energy work.
  Also, if your interested in learning more about energy work, astral projection, et cetera.  I would highly recommend Robert Bruce's book Astral Dynamics.  It's amazing.  It has lot's of great techniques for energy body development and astral projection.  If you can't buy the book, definitely read the tutorial on NEW Energy Ways.  Enjoy.
