hrm, I was always under the impression (not that I can say it came from any particualr source excpet myself-- and I never quite was sure that it was correct) that even thinking that involves the sexual energy would result in its waste.  

I have always thought that if I could harness that energy without becoming unbalanced with ultra-horniness that it would be a good thing.  however, it seems that I become too unstable and all mental activity is also bent towards sexual desires.  obviously, that can be incredibly distracting, so I guess a strong meditation practice is key in order to work sex magic effectively?

Very interesting chit man. So is some of the info you are presenting in the beginning saying that refraining from orgasm will increase your energy levels, thereby allowing you to become more in tune to being able to raise your kundalini. I have held off for several days before and it's very interesting what happens takes a lot of discipline though, especially when your so in love with yourself as most of us males are that we can't keep our hands off ourselves

This is a metaphor and certainly subject to interpretation but yielding fruit in the biblical sense means to bring forth product as new life or knowledge .For example the fig tree was cursed when it did not bear fruit . and "be fruitful and multiply " means to bear children but also to bear product from your life in the way of knowledge .

So though I agree with some of your interpretation I feel the menses is not part of this particular tract .  But the tree is the spine as you say and either side the magnetic and electric rivers of energy .The twelve manner of fruit has to do with 12 months which means eternal all year all the time without cessation but also 12 different kinds of fruit not apples and pears but spiritual fruits like wisdom discernment or perhaps even abilities like projection and clairvoyance ,The leaves of the tree grow as we complete our great work and as we share this knowledge we heal the world.

To keep this shorter than my last post, the Tree of Life which you are referring to is a Kabbalistic system of chakras throughout the body. One location on this tree would be the perineal chakra.

You have probably seen a diagramatic, Kabalistic Tree of Life before without even realizing it.

Kabalah is not Jewish but Babylonian. You may find the old, Chaldean-style magic to be the predecessor of every other kind. Some think the beliefs started with a demon who gave them to Adam's son Cain and were eventually taught to Noah's son Ham.

Remember what happened to both.

Manly Palmer Hall's "The Secret Teachings of All Ages" might be a good place to start along this line of research. IMO, there are alchemy-type truths hidden openly in the Bible, and the Babylonian-type religions are perversions or outright reversals of these.

I think the knowledge of the Tree of Life is a lot deeper than that. Sexual energy is NOT kundalini; and "the waters of life" is not about energy , is about Consciousness.  So , tree of life is about Spiritual Development and not energy body development.

Weeeell, I dont think anyone is really quite sure where kabalah first came from, but I have a friend who is currently looking into Egyptian mythology and related who thinks it goes back at least that far. Making links with their creation story, I haven't looked into it past a brief discussion we had, but he seemed pretty sure.

Hey Potential, looking at the way that " Masters " guide their chelas in the teachings of the "Tree of Life" , I've realized that they used the "regime" of FIRE (in other cultures it is called the regime of red clouds, or red moon). The reason for this is that own consciousness becomes one with fire and therefore enters into a higher state of being. Once this has happened it is a lot more easier to get Illumination to oneself as well as for others.   ...What you think about this?
