since the beginning there have been those who wish to gain luxury and power for themselves in a undying frenzy they wish nothing but prosperity for themselves. buddha and jesus taught us that when the veil of lust is lifted eternal life is revealed in all it's truth and we no longer desire evil for we see the life of all things, the flood gates of understanding are opened and all that is is revealed and no desire or sorrow or anger exists only the perfect content of being. the glue that
holds all this together is unconiditonal love, through unconditional love the truth is reavealed and many are scared for their riches are nothing and
life is a lie the truth reaches to embrace them and they turn away in fear
of what is and choose to return to the sorrowful illusion of riches and sex
and power over others but when all see truth, what will they see. a pool of all the suffering is the pool they wallow in like pigs in the mud. crying for all eternity that they chose to turn away. this need not happen to so many people. all we have to do is show each other love that has no bounds even if they hate you still love them. that is the end of all evil
, and the gateway to truth.

I think that you are wrong. Unconditional love is not needed to control own thoughts and actions. When I started meditating, the negativity slowly stopped being a problem, and now my feelings are nearly balanced, so I don't hurt people anymore without a reason. Now the negativity is like a tool for me. There's nothing bad with greed and lust, they only cause problems when uncontrolled. I am a greedy person, but for me honor is worth more than money. And what you would do AFTER enlightement?

Hi ARCHDRAGON,
I see this as very confined concepts, which is okay for many people.

But, all the people who choose to gain by material means are really only doing what they set out to do as the Souls they are, who have made the choices for this life.  They did this only for the Experiences it provides them.

So there should be no value judgments placed on them by any of us.

I am the least materialistic person I have ever known, and once I used to see things the same way you do now.  Back then I was upset with materialism and the lack of equality for all people, so I perceived Greed and Materialism as being bad things.

Now, I know that we are all equal Souls, and we only choose life circumstances for the unique Experience value of them.

Yes Greed is debilitating to one's opening or awakening to awareness, but this too is part of the Experience for those Souls who chose it.

No higher being is going to accuse the greedy people of being bad, or force them to have bad incarnations the next life to repent for their 'sins'..  It just doesn't work that way in the bigger pictures.

thanks for your answers, they have really opened my mind. it's kinda hard to think about all at once though. i'm sure I'll fuly understand this concept later probably just needs time to soak in. and as for the lust well maybe other people can handle it but as for me i've been a sex addict for a long time and my genitals are mutilated because of the actions the lust caused. so to each his own I gues.
