There are the four main flames of the Kundalini
which are the colours also of the sphinx in alchemy
These have ancient Hindu names
This is a chart I have put together attempting to explain their nature :

Hindu Name ---------------- Family - Colour -Element -Position on Body
1. Sushumna--Sun ----------Father---yellow--fire ------centre dominant
2. Ida ---------Moon---------Mother- blue----water----non dominant side
3. Pingala -----Man----------prince---pink----air--------centre front
4. Gandhari---Earth --------princess-green--earth-----centre rear
5. Hastajihva--Spirit---------self-------silver--spirit

when the father and mother yield the son he takes a wife and the parents become grandparents as the prince and princess birth the self - there is a muslim prohecy about a man bearing a child will become immortal
this is the self being borne and getting the self as divine parents to renurture and re create one self

the next four nadis are these colours , my group has witnessed them but I am not sure of the names or order (as listed later below 6 to 9)

purple -this is the edge of the universe we meet the Mother of All Worlds
gold - this is the completion of the alchemist the golden dragon sphinx
indigo -this heralds the arrival of the blue wolf sphinx
crimson - this heralds the arrival of the red griffin sphinx

I have not seen beyond 9 at this point but  here is mention of their names :

1. Sushumna- sun father yellow fire
2. Ida -  moon mother blue water
3. Pingala - blood son prince pink/red air
4. Gandhari -earth daughter princess green earth
5. Hastajihva -spirit self silver spirit

6. Kuhu       -
7. Saraswati -which is the river goddess
8. Pusha
9. Sankhini

10. Payasvini
11. Varuni
12. Alambusha
13. Vishvodhara
14. Yasasvin

In the myths of Genesis we get some clues about the order and colours
First there was the

1-light day           =White
  darkness night  =Black

2-seperation of waters from heaven   =Silver
as above so below as within so without ( and beyond ! says baba )

3-waters seas      =Indigo blue (also magnetic and arteries)
volcanic earth   =Crimson red ( also electric and veins )

-life earth seed     =Purple mother all worlds breath

4- stars                 =Orange

4continued   sun    =Yellow father
   moon                =platinum Blue mother

5-life sea               = silver spirit
  life air                 =green

6 life earth            =pink
  life  man             =golden alchemist
-----------------------------------

on our two hands :
we can now clairvoyantly witness this pattern developing in the energy body .

4 fingers Dominant Hand :
yellow           = sun father yahweh
platinum blue= moon mother shekinah
pink              = earth  avatar Jesus
green            = air

thumb:
silver             = spirit -the little work

palm:
white    = sphinx female pillar compassion light

there are four fires of the transformation

Non Dominant Hand :
4 fingers :
purple  = firmament heavens GrandMother Mother of All WorldsGaia
orange =stars Father of the Universe GrandFather  Father Sky
indigo blue     =waters
crimson red       = fire    volcano

thumb:
gold     = alchemist great work

palm:
black    = sphinx male pillar severity darkness palm

there are doors or webs called planes
one is the crown the female storage centre
one is over the shoulders
one is over the heart under the ribs
one is over the solar plexux male storage centre of energy
the last under the sacral upon which we sit the roots of the tree of life

must move all doors down shift one over each of webs of nadis
altogether over the planes

we begin to see in meditation then :

purple silver spiral stairway set off beacon
tiny inside infinite expansion of consciousness outside
everything is within that is without
but smaller
a pathway
an illusion
tiny golden ring in center of each plane web
make it expand and open self up
globe of earth lion and lamb in revelations bible
we all opened the purple and silver spiral up
memories past let go
ignited the purple flame female gaia descends slow hard
---
then future realised volcano fire phoenix father ascends quick and easy as the flames ignited pressure on sinuses and also tingling in elbow and shoulders no female pressure but male open female close female tingling resistance male current
------
over lynda were 4 flames purple orange black and white then these went onto table as spheres
and interspersed the 4 spheres of yellow blue pink green kundalini
and the silver of spirit in the centre as crystal

the table itself water with fire all round the edge
crown of jewels on table give to each other
widdershins so i gave to jodi
then around the table and the marbles fell down the spiral of silver

jodi said last week shown marbles going down in spiral we took them backwards
black cleanse end  seperation peace( gives death )
white new life protection ( gives life )
purple mother  lays the seed ovulation
orange father fertilised
silver neutral was not a marble it is us spirit and the spiral stairway
green terra grass growth and our planet signature
pink creation ( )  avatar son
blue  moon female mother
yellow sun male father

death on one side -life on other
death and life holding hands

LOL Tyciol. I'm starting a Kundalini yoga class tonight, but I hope it's not meant to be these complicated.  I simply do gold and white really and those only as a framework as really the visual stuff doesn't do it-it needs real tactile sensations and actions to get me going.  Is this visual stuff that vital RedCatherine?

If it is then good post :-).

Yoga is a good way to open up spiritually it is not complicated no . If the yoga is followed by meditation it can help  the kundalini to rise the first time  .Today yoga is generally taught as a physical exercise to tone stretch , increase circulation and gain flexibility etc. Gyms often ignore the spiritual benefits .Yoga does not require visualisation at all .
Raising the kundalini occurs naturally and it is not necessary to visualise it either . But that is not the reason for my post .

The post is meant to put forth information that the kundalini is not a one way ride. There is not one flame that rises one time . It is a continuous process within a circuit rising and falling through nadis . Many are aware of two or three main flames but there is little information available beyond that . So I wanted to share this .

It's funny because the last thing on my mind when I started energy work and also when I started my kundalini yoga class was "spiritual" stuff.  Basically I don't consider myself spiritual-I just like playing with the increasing intensity and variety I'm getting when I practice the energy work.

I've mixed in the kundalini skills I can use (not the prayer side of it-the physical work) with the NEW and bone breathing I already use.  Seems to make me a far more effective healer :-). Would you say that spiritual goals become inevitable however in the end?
I've had epiphany-tears of joy etc-I've written elsewhere about it, but I've not "tried" to become more spiritual as a result, I can repeat the thing again -it's a fantastic feeling. I still look at it however as something extending my energy work training.

I know this is at odds with other practitioners of various kinds here, but until I had the epiphany I'd not had any reason to look beyond the simple training of energy :-).

one would hope so but we all have met those that remain and choose to remain unaware

all things in balance our energy body develops spiritually whether or not we recognize it healing occurs through the use of universal energy which is connected to the Godhead whether or not we recognize it too

It would seem better  to balance yourself physically mentally and spiritually than to focus on the energy body itself and healing for secular reasons

we are all spirit all connected to one universal mind
we are spirit having a physical experience in this body
as this entity at this time
why would we develop our energy body if not to heal self and others
and to travel to spiritual realms to see for ourselves the truths we have forgotten to recall from previous lifetimes ?

Hi Redcatherine,

I understand the idea of balance sort of. To me that's physical exercise, diet, work, play, relationship(s) and in my case I add to that energy training and sometimes intellectual persuits-well trolling this board is one of those ;-).  I prefer to concentrate on stuff in a secular way because I fundementally don't really have a "spiritual" based inner life and understanding.  Not in the sense I read on this board and from discussions with others.
I'm just too practical minded.  I can do energy work because I can feel it, grasp it and understand it. I've done it since I was fairly young and I guess I took it for granted - until the last few years when I decided to train it further.

To me it seems better for me personally to work with what I can actually grasp and work with in my daily life for now.   I don't feel any particular spiritual imbalance within myself-but that's probably because outside of energy and healing work I'm as sensitive as a brick :-).

Seriously, can you or anyone tell me what is wrong with using/doing healing work for secular reasons? I'm presuming here you mean non spiritual reasons. P.S I can't do it for external reward-I don't like it. That's not my altruism or anything corny, it just doesn't feel right :-).

not really to each it's own not judging just curious i mean
of you are healing you know you are channeling energy from the universal light do you not feel Godhead in the energy ??

nothing wrong at all mate healing is healing and free is good

I have managed to reach a pitch of energy at times where I felt "more" of me and occasionally something else interconnected with me. I wrote a thread on it in astral consciousness.

Yes I've touched "something". I'm uncomfortable with most of the traditional labels for it-probably because I was an atheist and now am sort of agnostic.  Yes it brought tears of joy, and I sort of know how to touch it again to a degree-providing it's willing to be "touched" that is.

Most of my healing work has been carried out however without this particular sense, so I've not worried about it. When people have said "how can you heal without God" etc, I just tell them to believe what's in their heart and I'll believe what's in mine.

I guess I'm not really that comfortable with much of the new age and/or religious labels and trappings. I'm too much of a lone wolf personality-like to work out my own way in the end.

As I'm unable to "see" "hear" or do any other psychic stuff beyond the healing I've no other real personal evidence of anything beyond the sensing of this presence when I'm really pumping a lot of energy.

You will be able to see and hear
the path of the healer is one of great energy
the more you heal the more you raise your own vibration
as it raises you cannot help but to unfold naturally in other ways too . There is a predictable continuum of spiritual development
your choices will open you
if you choose to open then faster
if you choose not to be opened in this way it will go slower
but i am not sure if it can be avoided
easily .

Hello everyone!

Redcatherine, the information you have posted is a bit mixed, actually Ida (the left energy channel) is the moon / feminine / Yin channel  and Pingala (the right) is the sun / masculine / Yang channel: they are complementary, so sun and moon. And the third channel in along the spine and in the synthesis of the left and right, the evolutionary path. Kundalini rises through Sushumna. Ida is blue (black when is imbalanced), Pingala yellow (red when it becomes hot). Pingala is white or transparent :) .

But the complementary Ida and Pingala are not father and mother. Actually the entire subtle system is the play of the Mother, which creates the universes, whereas the Father is the witness. The purpose of creation is that the Mother energy returns to the Father conscience and they become one again, as they were before the reason for creation appeared.
Of course, the Mother and the Father are reflected in different chakras, at different energy-conscience levels, but the three channels (Ida, Pingala, Sushumna) are the three aspects of the Mother/Goddess.
That is why Buddha has spoken about Matreya, the Mother which unites within herself the three mothers (Ma + trey) and is beyond them, the granter of self realisation. She is beyond illusion (illusion is created by the three component aspects) and, through Self realisation, she unites the consciousness and leads it to the Father. This final point is called as God's realisation.

I hope it's not confusing, it's quite logical, actually.

Karnautrahl, I was asking myself which type of Kundalini Yoga are you practicing?   You have mentioned it a few times and i got the feeling that it worked for you...  :) , it seems to be strong and nice, isn't it?

Tyciol,
My respects, as usual!  :)

Wish you all some nice days!

That is another viewpoint as reflected here :

but it is not the only one and it does not bear up clairvoyantly and this is where we disagree . The sushumna is the main branch and is clairvoyantly witinessed as yellow and has been so described  in ancient texts . When people say they have raised the kundalini they mistakenly refer to this main one when actually the kundalini rises and falls within a circuit the two auxilliary main branches are the pink and blue and are also witnessed to be so clairvoyantly and pictured here :

"The forces of kundalini rise up through the spinal section - Ida & Pingala, negative & positive are on either side of the Sushumna, the central channel, and these are in the center of the tree. On either side there is a perfect balance between male & female, Sun & Moon." - P.Seckler

Quote from: sweetblissBut the complementary Ida and Pingala are not father and mother.

We will have to agree to disagree on this point . I am drawing a parallel to the duality of the Godhead the completion of the male and female aspect . We do have different opinions here .

The duality is embraced in hermetic literature and fundamentally through practical experience . When it is red or yellow that is hot electric and male and is not part of the Goddess . The Goddess is expressed in the moon the blue the green the cool the water the ice and most certainly not in all of the male hot aspects of the kundalini. Beyond the literature I drew my own conclusions from the practical experience of viewing and sensing the energy of the four elements expressed in the first four nadis .
These are

yellow
platinum blue
pink to salmon red
cyan green

these are the order of the nadis as they begin to flow they are also the colours of the four hermetic elements and the first three yellow blue and pink red are the colours of the trifold flame .

here :
http://www.redflame93.com/SororMeral.html

and they are expressed in a one to one correspondence as follows

yellow 1st male father sun hot electric the main branch ascending
platinum  blue 2nd female mother moon cold magnetic descending
pink salmon red  3rd male continues to express the sun now as  the son the prince warm electric ascending
cyan green female the daughter princess cool magnetic descending

as we continue to develop the prince and the princess give birth to a new self the silver nadi of the spirit

My group has done extensive research viewing the energy bodies of others to map this out and confirm it and it is described in hermetic and literature as well as Hindu and Yoga literature .

I feel we have different perspectives but thanks for sharing yours with mine .

Om Shanti

"There are the two nerve-currents one on either side of the spinal column. The left one is called Ida and the right is known as Pingala. These are Nadis. Tentatively, some take these as the right and the left sympathetic cords, but they are subtle tubes that carry Prana. The Moon moves in the Ida and the Sun in the Pingala. Ida is cooling. Pingala is heating."

I actually went to visit Robert to see what he thought about all of this . I was directed by spirit to see him because he has a perfected energy body and that is rare . I made drawings of him first before we looked at others as his colours were bright and easy to see .  I have the greatest respect for his work .

But Tyciol I am not preaching . This is new and valid research that I am sharing here . Although many texts substantiate what my circle has  witnessed clairvoyantly as a group . It is synthesized here in a new way drawing parallels between different  branches of knowledge ; Hermetic , Yoga et al .

All is one really. It is not religion I am presenting but the clues that come from many paths that all point to a universal truth in the nature of the human energy body and its predictable continuum of spiritual development .

Why is this important ? It is by understanding the duality of energy that we are able to manifest the perfection of the energy body and to open the vortex to travel to spiritual realms by our own command and without having to hold the hands of our everpresent angels . It is right to learn to fly independently . Spirit and angels are our teachers .

Beyond the travel the perfection of the energy body aids in alchemy and magic .

I am not searching for a platform to preach from Tyciol I only wish to contribute to the Universal Mind so that we might evolve to an aware species and benefit from this upcoming spiritual shift .

Karnautrahl,

hehe,  your thinking and mine is just the opposite :). I haven't really had any experiences with energy such as what you've mentioned, nor have I been able to project, but I've had some amazing spiritual experiences...

I guess it comes down to where your gift in life is....I think that everyone has the potential to experience areas that you aren't gifted in, but it just a lot more work. ..It's not that I don't believe in the type of energy you mention, I do, but I've yet to experience it,  so it's easier for me to focus on what my experiences have taught me, which have generally been spiritual in nature. Anyway, so I do believe in your idea that it's hard to believe in something if you haven't experienced it. Oh man, about 20 years ago, I was a full blown athiest who believed that after you died, you were just  worm food, and I was the biggest skeptic of everything. It's quite amazing how experience changes your entire perception.  It's been quite the journey!

keep up the great posts everyone :)

karnautrahl

Well right now I'm certainly just an energy worker of some kind. I've always said I'm a simple sort. This spiritual stuff is something I feel is way beyond my need to understand. I just search for anything to increase my ability to use what I know already, I leave the complex philosophosizing and spiritual holiness to those who "know" :-). hehe.... a nice drunken Friday night post!...
