Bad dream about my new premature sister

Hey guys,

I slept naturally and then I fell into a dream, I was walking down a road, I recognised it, it's the main road near my house. I had my little sister in my hands she's premature and in my dream she was really small like smaller than my finger (in real life shes almost normal size) and im just 14 with medium sized hands. Anyway I was carrying her how you would carry any baby and half way down the road I notice she's not there. I panicked, i ran back and saw the material that she was wrapped in on the floor, then I saw her on the road there was little blood i picked her up and she was crying, I still remember the vivid details, anyway I picked her up and stroked her face and she was still alive, so I quickly walked home and told my older sister (15 years old) what had happened and I asked her why she looked so much more bigger in the incubator and she said because theyre so small they put her under a magnifying glass.

I just dont get why I would have a dream like that . Is this a lucid dream?

It probably be good for you to worry about it a lot, even though it is definitely disturbing. It probably speaks of your fears for the baby. It's your subconcious speaking to you. It's not a lucid dream unless you know you are dreaming while you are in your dream.

Yeah.  Don't get lucid dreams confused with prophetic dreams.  In a lucid dream you kind of stop in the middle of your dream and say, "Woah!  Hollonaminute!  This is a dream!  Woohoo! " or some variation of that.

It's natural to have the kind of dream you did, with concern for the premature baby.  Maybe the smallness is just a mental exxageration of how helpless you may feel the baby is.

I say don't worry.  Even if the dream was very vivid, you probably just had a lot of energy stored up that night for one reason or another.  I'm sure the baby will be fine.

well I would interpret this dream as a way of how you feel about your little sister,...
perhaps you feel you are the one whom has to watch out for her, and the dream is reasuring you that you should do just that..
not a bad dream, I would say it is simply showing you that you have what it takes to lead your little sis, and thats a good thing,. also perhaps you had expectations before her birth, of how she would look and just the thoughts of her before she had arived here ,and the dream is showing you how your views has changed about her..
