This happened to me when energy development and projection attempts were my only spiritual practice. When I expanded my horizons and started to synthesize a new spiritual practice from different traditions, I felt spiritual again. I didn't feel like I had to advance at anything (that's what I didn't like about Boy Scouts, the encouragement to advance advance! advance! I just liked to go camping.) Just a thought...

Sometimes it is good to take a break from what you are doing. Whether it be a complete break or just stopping your old practises and trying something new. I always find that this helps revitalise and refresh my mind!

It is becoming more and more aparent that the more I push the more difficult things become.   Life is beinging to aquire a certain dullness to it because of the lack of advancement.  I think that I may need a break for a while.  Maybe try to just get some honest sleep for a change.

It takes time for your physical body to make changes.  It takes time for those changes to be integrated into your personality.    If you exercise certain muscle groups they will, in time grow, but it takes time.  The same is true with other types of exercise.  Sometimes spiritual and mental development does not feel good even it the exercise to get there seems boring or stale.  Just like it is good to vary physical exercise it may also be beneficial to vary mental and spiritual exercise.  Sometimes we all get the equivilant of aching muscles from our mental and spiritual workouts.
