Prayer

Hello everyone. I hope this message helps me get some feedback from more experienced people. I've being trying OBE and Lucid dreaming for a couple of months now with a certain degree of success. The other night however, an old lady lying very sick in bed, came to one of my lucid dreams. She was old and very weak. She woke up and saw me and tried to get up and talk but couldn't. There was also a little girl (4 or 5 years old) standing next to the bed.  They were alone in this house and no one was watching over this little girl except for this sick lady in bed. The girls parents were at work and the sick lady was supposed to baby sit her. But being sick and in bed how was she supposed to do it?. I realized then how incredibly vulnerable this little girl was, exposed to whatever evil being was out there. My heart just broke. So much so I had to sit down in the dream and that's when I realized I was dreaming. At that moment I woke up (my body was still off though) and then I decided to pray for this littlle girl. And that's when the weird thing happened. During that state when the body is off  but the mind is on, I felt like my prayer was really having an effect. I felt it was kind of resonating out ther. I've prayed before but never like this. Never with such intensity. This is just the first time I've experienced this though but I think prayer really is more powerful when OBE. I don't know, as I said I'm new on this but I guess I just want some feedback from people who have experienced the same thing.  I'd really, really appreciate!

I haven't yet fuly OBE'ed but I strongly believe that, yes, praying in the astral is much stronger.  I have told myself that the first thing I'll do when I succeed on going out will be to get on my knees and pray.  I believe that being to OBE is spiritual, and while you're in a spiritual realm, prayers are of course stronger.

I had a spontanious prayer/spell during an OBE once.

I manifested a fountain in front of me (?!) and dove into it saying:

"I am purified without!" then drank some of the water "I am purified within!"

A few months later that I was out walking near my home and found a fountain much like the one I manifested, and have since used it as the site of many rituals.

I a lot of times say a quick prayer as I am leaving.  Every time something "bad" as happened in an OBE I haven't said a prayer.  But not to say every time I don't say a prayer something bad happens.

I know prayer works.  I am not sure if it works better in the astral or not though.

It's an interesting question.

I think that it is stronger when you say a prayer in the Astral, but maybe it effects more on the Astral, too...

yes i think the astral filters down into what we perceive as waking consciousness so if you can manipulate the source then the output will be greater
