Floating in blackness this morning

Here is another experience I had this morning. They aren't terribly interesting, but I am at least getting a handle on the fear aspect. I still am not able to see that well in my projections, but it is getting a little better than previous ones.

~10am
I went into my guest room and put on the "Super Sleep" CD. I had trouble getting my mind to stop wandering, and actually went though 2 full plays of the CD before I had an experience. I was determined to have something happen, and made up my mind to stay there until it did. On the third play, here is what happened:

I was in a dream where a friend of mine (B) was writing on a chalkboard. I had my eyes closed, but I could see through my closed eyelids. I realized I was in a dream so I sat up (because I was laying down) and everything went black and the familiar feel of energy crackling around me was there. I had already made a commitment to get over my fear of the unknown the next time I was "out," so this was the time to do it.

Everything was black and there was a strange noise to my left, but I pressed on. I flew forward and, in the blackness, I saw someone coming out of a room with a gun. He was red, almost like Spider-Man, and had a gun on him. I didn't react fearful towards him so he let me fly by. Then in the room I tried to fly through the closed window, but I couldn't. I turned around and saw something out of the corner of my eye, but I disregarded it. I went back to where I came and everything was black. I felt the presence of things around me, but I couldn't see them. It almost was like that feeling you get when you are in a room and it is dark and you get the feeling of someone right behind you looking over your shoulder. I decided to just float in the blackness, since I couldn't see anything.

I remembered what Frank said about firing off the energy centers while in the state, so I gave it a try. I was floating in a black nothingness and I had energy flowing through my entire body, just by thinking/willing it to do so. It was a pretty good feeling, and I slowly merged back into my body and got up to write this.
