Why do you need spells for magic? I think that the best approach is a pure direct magick without any spells, chaos magick(as designed by Austin Osman Spare) is also excellent.

Concerning magic, i find the most important thing is the intent of the person, no need for elaborate rituals, or indeed not even spells, a prayer in itself can be seen as a form of magic. You say you know how to make a spell, yet you know nothing, in this case id take a step back, think about what exactly you want to use magic for and if its even a good idea, sometimes the mundane approach is effective. Anyway I'm blabbing on, and I'm new to, so from one newbie to another, welcome
