Strange and Surreal

Never had one like this before.....

There were two "me's" and I was trying desperatly to get a message to myself.

It was a jumble of symbols. I was very aware of being wide awake and aware and in an alternate dimension.

I was looking up at my other self- spead out on the ceiling fan above my bed, with her back to me, her arms and legs out like the five points of a star- when she began to sign the letters "R E A D" in sign language- "Read what?" I wondered.

Then she began signing too fast to read

I said I could not understand

My other self, still on the five blades of the ceiling fan, then began to write in pencil on the back of her own head but I could not read it- it was in scribbles and was covered by her hair.

I could not understand

Then she began some sort of charades: pulling at her hair, arching the ring finger of her left hand, and making monkey lips

I told her to stop

I have NO IDEA what the HELL I was trying to tell myself.

Any guesses anyone? (I'm soooo frustrated)

yikes!!!     Dont know what to tell you, ive had rather bizzare things happen to me lately as well, and can relate to the shear surreality of it all, but I cant come up with an interpretation right this second.

I hate when that happens!

When things like that happen to me, where I'm being given a message that I suddenly can't hear or read, I just let it go and know that my subconscious or whatever part of me needs to, has picked it up and understands.  Otherwise,  I end up driving myself crazy.  I Have confidence in myself that the message was received and will be revealed when the time is appropriate.

Still, it can be frustrating!

I have had similar things happen as well, and some of my experiences have also contained a pentagram or five pointed star or shape, as well as a hexagram or six points.         I really wish I knew what the symbols mean in the astral context, for all of the data that I have read about these symbols do not satisfy the context!

But I must agree with violeteye: Just know that on some level you did understand, and that when the time is right the information will be there for your use; that is what I have had to do.  But also like violeteye said, it can still be very frustrating!

It does appear possible to split your awareness into several parts at least for a short while.

I think this ability has developed for security reasons: ie part of your awareness or 'focus' is still concentrated on your physical body and continues to monitor for any potential dangers that may harm it. for this reason, if anyone approaches your body or anything untoward happens, you get zapped back asap. But the remainder of your 'focus' is on our 'non physical' state. This can result in the 'split mind' effect that RB talks about sometimes, when both parts of your mind become aware of each other resulting in an uncomfortable and confusing feedback effect.

This is easily avoided by not staring at your physical body for too long and not hanging around too close to it for any length of time, as it does seem that prolonged eye contact can cause the 'mind-split' effect.

I have experienced such a phenomenom on several occasions so I know that RB is right about this.

Hello Leyla,

Reading your experience made me recall a very weird experience I had this week during an invigilation.  I am training as a teacher and was in the English writing paper exam when one student requested to leave the room to be escorted to the toilets.  When I came back in with her, walking in was like I had burst through the space - everyone looked around! My energy lifted and I felt like my internal energy was spiralling around like a helicopter.  

I don't know why this happened, it was very strange and weird and the girl is very rude.  (I hope she read the paper though)

Hmmm. Perhaps it means "Don't marry a red headed monkey."

 That jumble of symbols that seemed crazy weeks ago now makes perfect sense. I am amazed and astounded.

Sometimes it takes time for the symbols to make sense to you. Oftentimes, I find that symbols take on a personal meaning; one that is different for each individual. That is why it often is not wise to consult a dream book or guide to symbolism.

I am also curious to find out what they ended up meaning.

As you know, the symbols were: Red hair, monkey lips, ring finger, and me telling myself to READ. I (joking) said "Maybe it means don't marry a red headed monkey." Ha ha.

I totally forgot about this, but there was a boy in high school who really did look like a red headed monkey, and he did ask me to marry him.

He also wrote me a book of love poems which he presented me with at the end of the school year in a large manilla envelope...and I still have them.

When it finally hit me,  I was tripping over myself scrambling to my closet to dig them out...that's what I was supposed to R-E-A-D.

So I read them. And it helped me realize some important things I had been trying to figure out.
