Hello All

I am proposing to change the API Weekends to once a month - to give us all a chance to dedicate a small part of our month to the API, rather than attempt to visit every other week.

This will take effect in the next few days, unless I get hundreds of objections

For one, I know that it will be more beneficial to me.

I hope this is acceptable and friendly to everyone involved.

Oops - I forgot to say when the next one is -

Friday 8 July - Monday 11 July 2005

BUMP!!

It's this weekend everyone!

I'm going to make it.  (I hope by saying this, I'll get there...!)

See you on the beach.  8)

Ha ha ha - you and me both.

I settled down yesterday, placed a firm intention to visit the Island and promptly fell into a deep and dreamless asleep.

Hi ho.

Hello Everybody-
I am a relatively new member here.  It was only about 9 months ago that I learned that the strange thing that happens to me at night-- that has earned me countless strange looks and "are you on drugs?"-type questions--was AP.
Anyway, I was able to make an exit on Friday(after 2 failed attempts that turned into naps!) from my living room recliner.  My first stop, was the kitchen where I had placed 3 playing cards on the counter(I do this every time now) Strangely, I just seemed to float there automatically as soon as I got out. I guess the intent was already there.  The 3 cards were there sure enough, but as I examined them, the face of the cards began changing, fast, like the rotation of a slot machine or something.  I tried as hard as I could to get a definitive retrieval, but couldn't.
After that effort, I left the house...things started to get trippy, and that's as far as I'll get into it.  However, mentally I was still very lucid, so I started to fly as fast as I could, closed my eyes, and on a whim, pictured the "AP Island."
I opened my eyes to see the ocean below me, and I dove right into it, and swam, fast, to the beach of the island.  There was a group of people there, they looked like stereo-typical tourists.  I went up to 3 or 4 of them and asked if they were from Astral Pulse.  They seemed to ignore me.  I can't remember much after this.
Just thought I'd share.

Hi Matt

That's great - and gives me renewed vigour to get myself there too.

Your phrase "living room recliner" made me smile.  Most of my projections have started out from the exact same position!  Although obviously not from YOUR living room recliner  :)

With the playing cards, next time you are in a position to look at them, don't look for longer than the briefest of seconds.  So look at the first one, note what it is, then look away.  Do the same with the second and third.  To make sure, you then go through the process one more time, but don't look too long.

This means you are less likely to "change" the cards with your thoughts/expectations.

Hi M.T. & Sarah-
Isn't it funny how cocktails totally destroy any chance of OBE!! I have a problem with that too!

Thanks for the advice about the cards.  I hadn't even thought that I might have been getting in the way of myself!
