Angels.

My first encounter with an angel was when I was 4. I was playing at the top of a hill on playground equipment and wandered down the hill to the bottom where a stream flowed through. At the bottom of the hill was a small wooden foot bridge; I was all alone up to that point. What happened next startled me. I looked up and across the stream to the left where an old man, about 90 stood at the edge close to the eddy of swirling water. He looked deep into me and said " It is not your time to go. You should not play here because it is dangerous. Go back up the hill to play now." He had a slight whitish golden glow around his entire body. I turned leave and took two steps, then turn back to say goodbye. He had vanished as if he was made of a cloud being whisped away. Just seconds ago he was as solid as the trees next to him. It didn't scare me, but it will always be etched into my life.

My second experience was when I was 24. I'm 38 years old today. I was alone in a barn on a hot day in August when the same man appeared out of nowhere. He told me it had been a long time since we last met. I asked him what he was doing here with me today. He gentle said that he sends a message that I am here for a reason that I do not know of and that my purpose for choosing to come down will soon be revealed to me in a dream. About 3 weeks later I had that dream. I learned that I am a care taker, specifically a healer for those who's souls are empty and without love and light in their hearts. So today you the reader have chosen to view my post. I truly feel you were meant to be here reading this today. Everyone will take something different from their reading this and each of you will experience it differently. I'm simply here to tell you that yes angels are real, they may never appear to some and others will see them more often. Please share your angel experience with everyone here.

I agree that angels are around us all the time. And true to the meaning of the word "angel", they do bring messages to us. It's wonderful that you've been given the message and the direction that you have. So many people go their entire lives without coming to know what it is they're here to do.

Part of what I do is as a medium, so I am in contact with angels and other guides on an almost daily basis. I won't bore you with all the accounts, but I will say that every time I see or speak with an angelic being, I am always left with feelings of beauty, wonder and love.

Nice of you to share with everyone. I've heard that angels will appear in many forms. Mine happened to appear as an old kind man. I hope to see him or another angel again sometime.

What a wonderful idea for a thread!  Thanks to everyone who has shared their experiences.  I love reading about this type of thing!

I've had a few angel appearances myself.  One that stands out to me, was the classic-type situation you see on the movies.  When I was much younger, in primary school, I used to pray in church on an almost daily basis.  I remember going to this beautiful old stone church, and sitting upstairs where the stained glass windows looked the prettiest.  I would pray for something like 30 minutes at a time.

One time, it was a beautiful sunny day, and the colours where streaming through the windows and across the church.  I was just gazing at the colours, almost ready to leave, when a beautiful woman appeared to me.  She had the most glorious white and gold aura about her.  I think she spoke to me, although I cannot remember what was said now.  Her beauty was breathtaking and that image is what stuck with me.

When I was much younger, a friend & I were driving drunk. The police were chasing us for running a light. At high speed we hit a parked car head on. I spent 13 months in the hospital. About the second week I regained consciousness. One of the nurses looking after me said that my heart had stopped three times; she basically gave me excrement. My memory of it was like being in a large house and someone was going around slowly turning out the lights one after the other. It was not scary, the whole thing was very peaceful I can clearly remember a tall man with a bright white glow about him giving me a choice to go back or to check out. I don't know if he was an angel but I
remember feeling very secure with him.

Hi Kyo,

I have read every book Sylvia Browne has written; and in her books I have learned a great deal about Angels, guides, anch angels, etc...Angels are not people with souls, they are rather frok a different phylum. For example. Like that of a dog and a cat. NBiether one could become the other. Angels never incarnate and desend to earth. They visit earth and watch over us, but they never live a life on earth. An Arch Angel, such as Gabrielle are Angels that are always right at the side of God, they are like his heart beat. Spirit guides have all lived at least one life on earth, they do this in order to sympathize with us as humans. If they didn't at one time live here on earth, they could never experience the trials and turbulations of human life. When they pass to the other side, they choose to become spirit guides. Everyone on earth has a spirit guide. Some people confuse them as our own conscience. They help us stay on our path of life that we all chose before we incarnated. Our spirit guides my possibly be the closest entities to us. We have souls, because it is the gift of God. We experience life for him. We live, we learn and then pass to the other side. We perfect our souls by coming to earth and experiencing life. If in a past life we chose to be a poor person from a third world country, we may chose to be a rich person froman affluent country the next life. Some believe in reincarnation, others don't. We exist, becuase we were a spark from Gods light. The instant we were a thought in Gods mind, we then had a souls. We will live forever and we are all a part of God. I hope this is at least interesting for you.  I know some people will completely disagree with me, but thats fine. We are all unique. I think that with more knowledge we all become alittle more spiritual. Life is a journey we should all enjoy. What do you think ?

However, I think the concept of Homo Sapiens Serinissimus is a valid goal to work towards, but the concept has much too long of a name for me to want to use. Why not just something like Serenus (amalgamation of serene and us, which seems like a valid goal to bring everyone to understand one another)?

I understand where you're coming from, and I hesistated as to whether a reply was necessary. I eventually decided to (evidently), but only as an (out-of-courtesy) response to your very courteously posted sharing-of-feelings and question you posed, and *not* to argue with or to convince anyone of anything.

Firstly, your reaction when you read the 'planet so-and-so' bit is understandable. However, Hilarion was simply stating it factually, as he sees it. He does not go on to spin some wild story about intergalactic wars and federation councils, etc. I believe it is to these (latter) stories, that you're emotionally weary and wary of. So your reaction is understandable. But it is precisely just that, a RE-action.
 
 
Secondly, as to the scientific name "Homo sapiens serenissimus" to refer to humans who have evolved beyond the use for reincarnation, it was coined by a PhD scientist who is used to discussing matters in a rigorous scientific manner. Notice that Hilarion didn't insist on using this term, he was simply stating factually, "These have been called Homo sapiens serenissimus (or Serenissimus for short) by Dr Waldo Vieira".

And since Dr Waldo Vieira has (decades ago) founded a very successful and huge international organization of scientists who study spiritual matters, consciousness, evolution, out of body experiences, guides & helpers, etc, and these tens of thousands of scientists and members use this terminology, so it's only out of convenience, that we mention the terminology, that such-and-such is the idea we're referring to.

Why does everyone call DNA "deoxyribonucleic acid"? Why not something simpler like "DeNuAd"? Because the term "deoxynucleic acid" is what the scientists chose, and they surely had their reasons for this. So the public follows, out of convenience, not out of cultish dogma.

So your reaction is understandable. But it is precisely just that, a RE-action.

Yes I am human, but you forget that one of the main rules of thumb to go by on here (yes I mean on the entire AP forum) is to take stuff with a grain of salt. When I see things involving other planets come into play, I tend to avoid them since everyone and their sister seems to be posting variants of Nibiru as it comes to them (usually for attention or delusion, but rarely justifiable for some of the posts you see). I think at this point I can still say how I reacted is still "ok", even with your well written response about a doctor coming up with this stuff. I consider most doctors to have feathers up their butt, so still what you write is just telling me that someone with a degree has written something groundbreaking, not someone who is necessarily correct at all (blind leading the blind sometimes?). I think the writing was intended to impress rather than express.

Because it's descriptive and provable to be descriptive over and over. Angels and superhumans spoken through latin terminology are not (can we please try to get out of this crazy Latin phraseology please? no one in their right mind would use complicated pseudoterms for something such as the topic of discussion, and I expect it to be disrespectful to some level as well). How about this, we'll just refer to these as HSS from now on, since everyone uses DNA instead of it's long form. Not very impressive looking now is it? Again, I think the writing was intended to impress rather than express.

In conclusion, I suggest everyone start looking at things posted on AP with a salt shaker in hand (you're going to need many grains of salt to drudge through what is posted here!). I doubt that this can be disproven anyways, but not fully provable to be honest either, so why try? We need something a bit more constructive than a new way (long latin form) to call beings that we don't fully comprehend.

My first encounter with what i perceive to be angels was when i was 12.  I had been gravely ill for months and the doctors and specialists had no idea what was wrong.  I was in Rochester (the medical hospital) for months trying to figure it out, but they said they didn't expect me to live.  I was sitting in my hospital bed, praying and i felt hands on my head.  I opened my eyes and there were 2 people, one on each side with their hands placed on my head praying with me I even felt a warm sensation on my forehead when they said a prayer anointing me with oil.  The prayer was over and as i closed my eyes again they disappeared.  The very next morning a doctor called from a thousand miles away and said he'd found my case file and realized that I had a rare type of cancerous tumor eating away my vertebrae and he knew how to treat it.  

The next encounter was when i was 18.  I was traveling north for a holiday visit with my grandparents when a blizzard descended from nowhere it seemed.  I hit a patch of ice and ended up in the ditch.  I thought I would freeze to death in my car.  About 30 minutes passed and a blazer pulled up on the other side of the highway.  An elderly man got out and told me to hold on he'd get me out.  He opened the back of that blazer and there was some type of big hoist setup in back that he hooked me up to and pulled me out in seconds.  I offered him money for his help and he wouldn't hear of it.  I left going North and he left going south again.  Even driving 20 miles per hour I ended up in the ditch again.  I don't know how, but the blazer that left going the opposite direction had somehow come driving south again toward me.  Once again the kind faced man pulled me out of the ditch.  This time I slipped money into his hand when I shook it and thanked him.  He smiled and told me to keep to the side of the road for 5 miles and the weather would clear up.  He was right.  And when I stopped in the next town and dug in my pocket, there was the money the money I swore I'd handed to that kind stranger.

Your post has touched me, I'm careful and specific about what I post If I hadn't of posted the earlier nonsensical rap scriptures I wouldn't of been following the same trail of thought, that lead me here, I trust you and I know that everything you and evertyone esle has just said is true, I've even have recorded incidences here on the AP that bare similarities to your story

Anyway I just watched L.A. Story on ITV3 I would really like to fully explain myself, but I have just met or just realized I've just met what I consider GOD in a form of Angels, it's been extremely emotional and I've been poring tears of joy and sadness rolled into one, it's inexpressible, I'm highly emotional and I don't know if I even have to speak, I'm DUM struck.

I've Just Watched Donnie Darko, what took place in that film was a complete real time thought dialogue between myself and AAM, I don't think I could if I can, have to explain time travel, and there's things that I should keep and only discus with myself, even though I think I'm free from that now.

In DD they watch a film in the cinema, it reads, The Last Temptation of Christ, The Evil Dead.

When I watched the Evil dead I had a very distressing time, it was well I was reading nature, which I might need to explain, and I recognized it from a nightmare I had when I was younger, lets just say what followed in that Movie was an intense fear shock battering of my faith energy on all levels and all senses, I was accompanied by my friend Matthew, and the UP giving approval, so I knew it was beneficial nevertheless complete torture, words cant go into it, I can still flip back and feel the pain of that experience now, although all conquered making sense somehow.

Anyway  DD and many, many  tears, then later still mesmerized by nothing I'm watching L.A. Story, I look in awww into the mirror I flip a few channels on the TV I Believe What's happening I suddenly think about someone I know, I catch the Reversed TV reflection in the mirror, two lovers kissing, its all so clear epiphany after epiphany something I've always known, I'll quote the line in the film that convinced me and brought me to lucid attention

The Reply was

On this film, this guy (Steve Martin) chats a road sign on the side of a hightway, again inexpressible feelings and emotions, God told me in the Frankest meekest funniest, most expected and non expected way, explaining everything with harmonic words, swaying gravity and cause and effects with his (I just identify with the masculine unmanifested thought) word, appearing in many forms, but that road sign and all energy and feeling of that moment will stay with me he basically told me that heaven and earth is a tiny small place, which has just made evident to me and that there are more things out there worth living for then my DUM philosophy, he didn't say DUM that's just what I call it, he then gave me the impression via all stimulation of all my senses and a complete reverses and reload of all my consciously decoded incidences up to that moment and now onwards, he then made it clear that everything was cool done and dusted, I trust god like I trust you and myself, not even worth expressing, god you surpasses nothing.
