Storm dreams

Just a general question:

I had a dream about a massive storm approaching somewhere near where I live and I'm interested to know if anyone has had any similar dreams.  Big black menacing clouds.

For example, I remember reading somewhere that before 9/11 some people dreamt of planes crashing into buildings.  I wondered if that happened for the London thing?

Also, this is purely a question of interest.  Has anyone else aside from me had a dream about storms lately?

Yeah I have.  A lot actually.  Usually during lucid dreaming sometimes I look up at the sky at see giant clouds rolling across the sky, lightning everywhere.  Such a cool experience...
Actually my last experience was so amazing...a few weeks ago I had a lucid dream where me and my brother were going outside my house..i looked up at the sky and the sky was just filled with storm clouds and lightning.  I had a bad feeling we were about to get struck by lightning.  I wanted to make sure i stayed close to him(my brother) just incase he got hit- if he did, i would too.  We were walking in my front yard - we walked over to this pole, then CRACK!  I see the streak of lightning, an enourmous crackle sound - and I was out.  Layed there feeling the electricity surge through out my body.  I knew I would be ok but I was worrying about my brother -  hoping he could handle it.  It was so realistic - exactly what I imagine a real lightning strike would feel like.
I've always been into lightning and storms and all that, but every time Im outside now I'm like 'ah' - kinda nervous but knowing what to expect if it was too happen.  Hope it doesn't tho - kinda just leave it in the hands of God u know..

I've had many many dreams of tornadoes.  Not sure if it's a subconscious manifestation or something of a foreboding nature.  
Yesterday I was standing in line at the market and glanced at one of the tabloids warning of massive tornadoes that are supposed to destroy parts of the midwest.  Well, being from the midwest it got me to wondering.  
Hopefully these were just insignificant dreams I was having.

Train Crashing at Station
I remember this dream the dream accured around 2-3 times viewing different angles of the dream. inside, outside and in the middle.. It was wierd why I was having them but it was so real...

Funny you ask... I've had lots of dreams about bad storms the past year, most of them with tornadoes.  I remember being lucid in a couple of them.

Another recurring theme is being outside at night, looking up at the stars and seeing them all start to swirl and move about, thinking "here we go, its happening!" whatever that means.

^^^ wierd.  and for me, no real dreams about storms, really.  now that you mention it, i haven't been remembering my dreams at all.

Strange -  I was watching the news last night and they were predicting violent storms for the area where I live, thunder, lightning, hail.  We haven't had rain in a while and all last night it was literally pouring down with rain and our dam's leaking into one of the paddocks.
We had strong wind warnings for the coastal areas and storm warnings for the inland areas.  Everything's fine up my end but apparently all 'hell was breaking loose' up the other end.  *sigh*.   Ya never know.
