Ok, from what I get the impression of is that F12 is where most astral projections and phasing happens. So then what is a description of F15? How is it different and how do you know when you are at F15? I have never really understood Monroe's descriptions of 'expanded awareness' in F12 and 'sense of no time' for F15.

Personally, i truly believe that the focus levels are a general referance. Since everyones experiences differ slightly from individual to individual, its reasonable to assume so will how they perceive something such as certain levels of consciousness.  I dont think its always great to stick to a refernce or in other words "live by a book" ( its more fun writing your own anyways- isnt it;) ). I think understanding a reference helps with cross examination and allows you to assess your personal experiences on your own. At the same time you must keep in mind their ultimate goal is to lead you to the truth, or in the least your personal truth. I find there is no better way to do this rather than trusting yourself.

Anyways! On the other hand, to answer your question- I think that F15 is more of a self exploration state. It's sort of a level of true introspect, getting to know ones self. Self awareness etc. While F12 is more of an external exploration (keep in mind this is all within *my* personal experiences).  So when you first experience Astral Projections youre more inclined to just get a feel for things , look at your surroundings (F12). Then as you progress and get used to this state, you further your exploration and this usually goes into the individuals consciousness (F15) being aware of the conscious's expandable capabilities and so on and so forth.

I hope this helped. Once again, its only my personal experience, someone's may differ. I think the best thing to do is to explore your own experiences =). As Carl Jung says "Your vision will become clear only when you look into your heart. Who looks outside, dreams. Who looks inside, awakens."

I think it is best to use the Monroe's model up to focus 10.  Get REALLy intimate with focus 10 (see Major Tom's Permanent Astral Topic post on focus 10).  Then, switch to Franks model of Focus 2, 3, 4.

It becomes easier that way.

Best of luck,

I would definitely agree hans!  Makes things much simpler.

Now that I have said that I have recently begun to fall upon what Monroe referred to as F15 and it does vary from F12.  I also agree with what eyes said that it goes from "outer" exploration to inner exploration.  Most of my phasings up until this month have been about basically nothing.  Just me boppin about doin whatever and just enjoying the experience.  My past few experiences have been different.  They are tackling some very deep personal issues and helping me to work through some of my deep seeded psychological issues.  I dont agree with the "no time" explanation, its more like "personal issue resolution" for me, but I think we each have our own ingrained model.
