Past lives as neg entities

I have had many spontaneous OBEs.  The latest was very disturbing because I think it may be related to neg attack.  

I have gone past the heavy vibrational exits and the screeching jet metallic sounds.  Now when I exit it is an electric fuzz of energy that is felt all over the body.  Sometimes I can control this and I can go in and out with short trips that I remember.  

I had this awful experience that I thought someone might help me with.  I was napping on the couch and fuzzing in and out a couple of times, then the last time I was trying to get out and was too close to feeling my physical body and was trying to push out using my arms, so I let go of the feeling of my body and just "intended" to get the feeling of sitting up without going through the physical motions, and it happened.  Once I was out everything was vague and dark in the room.  But then suddenly everything was bright daylight (this was evening).  There was this awful black African lady wearing the traditional African clothing with this bright colored head scarf, but she had bulging green eyes.  I felt immediately that she was some kid of bad voodoo witch.

I wrested with her and grabbed her by the arms.  I felt very confident because I felt I was in the right.  I told her that you can never win because God is good and right will always win out against the bad.  She finally shriveled down into a dead plant in a flower pot in the corner and it was all over (symbolic I realize).  A woman suddenly appeared in the room and I asked her who that entity was.  She said "it is you from a past life, she comes most nights and lies down next to you.  That is why you are so insatiable ( too much to explaihn here  )."

I know this entity.  It has come in many forms since I was a child. I think maybe I inherited it.  I understand now how to get rid of it through psychic self defense methods and life changes.  What gets to me is, can your past life selves come back to haunt you?  I can understand how our past lives bring about changes in our present lives, but I've never heard of a past reincarnation coming back to "haunt" you.  Has anyone ever heard or read of this kind of thing happening?

I think I can relate to that story. Sometimes your past life self can be separate from you in a way. Your defeating her might be your way of fighting off the bad things from that life. You might have needed to confront the destructive things from your past life once and for all.

There is a part of me that is like that, a form of energy I can feel around me that I will notice entering or leaving the room. It is not a dark side for me, though. I always feel it when I've made a really good change, of thought about/said something that had a lot of meaning.

I have done past life readings for clients, as well as exploring my own, for over twenty years and have never encountered a past life coming back to "haunt" one--still, I hesitate on principle to write off anything as impossible.

My guides inform me that this African was a discarnate entity.  I have seen many of them( the first time was over fifty years ago), and they run the gamut from confused but harmless to really nasty to outright insane.

what is a discarnate entity exactly and what does one do about it?  Did your guides only give you information about what it was and didn't have any idea of the why, what to do, or keep it gone kind of thing?

aviar, it's probably not the best advice to listen to any energy form or spirit off the street.  Just because this entity told you it was a past life doesn't mean it was.  It could be wrong, or lying to you.  It's probably better to take it at face value and what You feel it was.  The astral is like the wild west, a fun place to go, but keep you wits about you.  The last time I wrestled with a form on the other side I got neg attached to me.
