Moderators editing posts

Hello,

I've been posting at this forum for years, but learned of unfortunate events at this web site.  Regardless if they are true I would like to know what happens if a naughty moderator of admin edits my posts.  Will the post display the "edited" text?

I'm sorry you see it as such.  So you're more inclined to hide the past from others.  I believe my question is legitimate for "Bug Reports and Questions"

Ok i reformulate the question which interestes me as well.

If a moderator edits a post will it be visible? Thus, will the post have a "edited" on it.

This is a topic that everyone has a right to know about and should not be discouraged.  Quite Frankly, it's a drop in the bucket what should be known here, but I know the moderators do not allow such posts even though it is appropriate for "Bugs Reports and Questions".  People can PM me if they want to know.  Until then I'll be at the authentic Bruce Roberts forum under the same username since I can no longer be responsible for the content of my posts due to editing.

I agree with your sentiments entirely.

This never was a "Robert Bruce Forum" in any way, shape or form, so the word "authentic" is superfluous.  We have this forum which is totally open to all and without any layers of eliteness, and they have their forum.

This is, and always has been a forum owned and operated by myself with the valued assistance of the moderators, encompassing a very wide range of metaphysical subjects. There are many forums on the Internet and the popularity of this one speaks for itself.

With regards to editing and deleting of posts; if anyone at all is unhappy then they can always send me a private message or an email, and I will respond to it very quickly.

In fact very few posts are edited, and when they are it is due to a breach of our Acceptable Use Policy for abuse, provotation, profanity etc.. Posts are never edited for censorship, freedom of speech or any other purposes.

thanks for the answer! As far as I'm concerned I do not think that moderators do abuse the edit function. Never was a post of mine edited and we should stop comparing forums that is childish.
But it sure would be a good idea to make the forum that way, that it says who edited a post and when(like it used to be). This can only help tp prevent strange rumours and add to the integrity of the boards!
