Yeah I hate when that happens. I leave my body and then the "you got mail"-messenger pops up in the lower right corner of my vision, from "XXX horny housewifes"... nah Im just kiddin. Just like when you dream.

I think your unconscious is sending a message. The orb and the butterfly (msn?) are connected. Keep your eyes open for clues, interesting. Butterfly is a symbol of change or transformation.

Maybe you had these things running through your subconscious whilst OB. Freud's theory on dreams states that dreams are created as a byproduct of our subconscious throughts, manifesting in image form on the screen of the mind. Often the thoughts are simply those of things that happened the day prior. I believe the same is true of OBEs. Our subconcious thoughts manifest themselves inside our projections, thus causing some of the distortions and things we see that aren't actually there.

I dont really use that browser.If I do its only for mail.And its been a very long time since I emailed someone from there.But I do have the butterfly on my desktop.

That could be why it was there.But why havnt I seen it before than?Ah what the hey Ill just see what comes up?Like you said wisp I will keep my eyes open.

Msn is kind of a diff. version of internet explorer.I prefer to use  5.5 instead.

This happened one morning.I got up way to early the sun was not even close to being out.What I did was just watch tv for a bit.Started to get tired and the house was freezing.

So off I go back to bed.I layed on my side(left),Right up against the edge of the bed almost.And I cleared my mind.

Well I drifted off and not too far from than.I had astral sight and my body began  sliding off the side of my bed,face toward the floor.

This was a very cool feeling.It was like it was happening in slow motion.There I was near the floor,and than  decided I was going to go through the top of my door,and part of the wall.

When getting closer I heard either my girlfriend farting or my physical body,I zipped right back to my body instantly.LOL.I still had astral sight and my astral arms were moveable.

I dont know if my waking  concious jumped to my etheric body or what?Its happened once before where I could see my body laying in bed.And than in an instant. I was there on my bed,seeing my real time double flying upwards in the mirror.Repeated this process 3 times.

For some reason I could not get any further than the ceiling.

Anyway,while I was laying there messing with my astral arms.There was this sparkling white orb,very small but bright as can be,right near it was the msn butterfly logo in 3d.If you know what im talking about.

This was like right in front of my hands real close.

I wonder about the orb and the logo,what it might mean?.I thought it may have been something to do with my email.I even checked it,just the usual spam,yeeech!
