That's pretty damn cool.  Neither illusion nor reality though, cuz it is real and that is an illusion lol.  Has to do with how your eyes take in information.

heh heh ! I liked that one. Especially when the dots disappeared...

Perhaps I can use that to make some of my work disappear tomorrow in the office !!  :D

That's pretty cool!! 8)  Thanks for the link Lola.

As for the "illusion or reality" bit, in relation to a comment on the page:
QuoteYes, our brain constructs reality. There really is no green dot, and the pink ones really don't disappear. This should be proof enough that appearances are often illusions.
I've got to dissagree with the way this has been put forward. Yes it is an illusion, but its basis is in solidly in biological science.

If you stare at a stationary illuminated object for more than about 10 - 20 seconds, depending on the individual and the ammount of light on or from the object, the the pigment protien in our eye's photoreceptor cells - Rhodopsin, bleaches out.

In the case of this illusion, bleaching of Rhodopsin will do two things - it will cause objects to vanish, starting with the more light sensitive peripheral vision and working its way in, and it will cause a negative afterimage to appear when the light source is removed. The negative of pink is green. the pink light goes out, you get a green afterimage.

That's the end of your biological sciences lesson for today. :)
