My house is creeping me out.

Due to my recent re-commitment to OBE's I have apparently become sensitive to something in my parents house.  I just moved back in 2 months ago and when I used to live here I had my first OBE many years ago.  I moved out, came acrossed RB's and Monroes stuff, this forum, had a few good OBE's.  At my old place I had a few experiences with things in my room at night and just odd things happening to me.  Now that I am back at my parents house I dont have anything really wild happen while I sleep like I did at my old place but instead I see things in my parents house. Alot. It started with just random multicolored circles or patterns that appeared in my peripheral vision and disappeared almost instantly but now I see shapes in the dark all the time.  Never in my room but in the living room.  It is always dark because the only light we have is a big halogen light and my parents freak out if I leave it on afraid I will burn down the house.  I must go through the living room or look into the living room in order to get anywhere else in the house during the night.  To go to the kitchen I must go through it.  To go the bathroom I must look into it.  

A man died in our house after building it basically by hand.  WHen we moved in poltergeist activity was usual and when I moved out it stopped mostly.  We dont have any anymore but now I see things.   Always a black form.  Usually crouched down or behind something.  It isnt something you see out of the corner of your eye, its in your vision for as long as you look at it, or until you turn on the light.   It seems to have form.  It isnt just on the wall or up against something, it is as if there is a big rock sitting there about 3 feet tall and a foot wide.  Any ideas??  I CANT STAND IT ANYMORE!  Last night I was so on edge by it I had to go to a bar and get drunk so I could come home and sleep.

Just because it appears as a black form, doesn't mean that it is horrible and means harm.  I feel like it is actually the lost soul of a child....

Has it done anything, other than appear to you?  Have you tried to talk to it?  I feel great sadness and confusion attached to it.  Perhaps it just needs help towards the light??

How was your childhood in that house?  It seems to me that the hurting child that was in that house was you.  I don't mean to sound glib, but is it possible that the hard times are a result of your past, and returning is drawing some of those memories out, and your heightened awareness is manifesting those emotions in the form of that black image?

I lived there from 12 on and my childhood was ok for the most part.  No abuse, I was an only child and basically just got angry when I didnt get my way, most of my pain and angst from 12-17 was self caused and not very severe.  I never thought of that to be honest and I am not entirely discounting it but I dont think that is it.  It has only started manifesting strongly recently and I am adjusting to it.  When I get used to it more I will attempt to make contact via OBE or otherwise, I also thought if I could see it well enough and know where it was I could try and take a picture of it as well, see if anything shows up.

You know that you don't have to try and communicate with it through OBE don't you?  You could just try to talk to it like any other person, you just have to quite yourself and be open to receiving an answer however it comes (i.e feeling, a thought, etc)

well I havent seen any definition in it.  Its just a black blob.  I would think it would take energy to manifest clearly from wherever it is naturally "living".  

Maybe it isnt necessary but I would think getting a peak at it with astral vision seems logical as to identifying it.  If it doesnt work atleast I tried.  I also figure if I encounter it in the astral I will have an easier time communicating effectively with it.  It wont see me as a living outsider but someone on its relative level.
