What causes this?

Lately when being close to leaving the body, I get weird sensations in my lower back. In the very beginning it felt like someone was tracing a finger up and down my tailbone, but now it has spread to my entire lower back. It's very hard to explain these sensations, but they are very uncomfortable and make me want to break the trance simply to be rid of them.

This is an annoyance. I don't know how to deal with this, and often just get stuck in my physical body instead of rolling out into the astral.

Also. Well. Don't know if this is of any significance, but as I'm close to splitting I also feel weight on top of my upper body, and it appears to be moving around. This is new. I'm used to the feeling of being pushed into the mattress, but not by something that seems to be moving about on top of me.

Today this happened again. With both the icky sensations in my lower back, and with the weight on top of me. I was sure I felt something wet and cold against my skin. A nose? Of a cat, or dog? Could it be some sort of spirit animal, or is it simply energies playing tricks on me?

Sorry for the terribly long question ;) Hope to receive some answers.

Thanks!

Selski

Hello FrostyRose

It's difficult to say what it is that you are experiencing.  Weird sensations are the norm, in my opinion.  If I stopped and thought about all the "weird" stuff that happened during my experiences, I'd probably pack it in.

Ignoring them is the important, but tricky, solution.

Whether it is a new strange sensation or a familiar one, my advice would be the same - learn to ignore it.

We all find nonsenses to believe in; it's part of being alive.

Thanks for your reply. Yes, you're right. Weird sensations in the norm with OBE. I will try to learn to ignore it, and maybe then, in time I'll learn why I experience it :)
