I dont know if this is the right board or not since i am new and everything but i need some new techniques all the ones i know fail or get to the Vibrational state and i can achieve the split or leave my body but sometimes i hear voices i know i shouldnt but i dont split or leave HELP!!!!!  :sad:

Now...WHO told you hearing voices is wrong?? A psyhiatrist? Ignore him. Also Ignore the voices if they sound bad...they probably only want to scare you...it's the astral world welcoming you   :occasion18: If the voices sound good, listen to what they have to say...and MOVE ON...

My question is how do i achieve the split i vibrate but no split i float up but no split and when i float i cannot get off of gravity how do i make the split happen its not working

You wanna know a big secret? There's no proper or improper "technique" It's not like you're trying to find the right key for the door. Techniques are more of a way of getting you in to a certain mindset. That's why some work for certain people while others don't. Your problem is you're working to hard on the technique while you should be focusing on what it's supposed to do.

Well, what is it supposed to do? Distract you, basically. Techniques are set up so that you get your attention focused in one direction, and you're not thinking about what's happening. Your problem is you're asking, "Is it working yet" when you shouldn't be asking any questions at all.

A person could lay down and focus his concentration completely away from his physical body and still achieve his goal. They wouldn't need to focus on a certain technique or anything. This is because this person is special. Not everyone can focus away from their body without having something to focus ON.

So basically, make up your own technique. Just think of something you can do which will keep your mind active, while keeping your concentration away from where you are and what you're doing. Stop asking, "Am I there yet?"

What usually helps is to picture a place. Make it up in your head, and build it as you go along. Hear the ambience, see the things around you, feel them, smell them. It's similar to falling asleep, but instead of completely blanking out, you move right in to your dream.

Stevo, so you can basicly thing of flying cows just to keep your mind 'awake' while your body falls asleep, then as i understand it your are still conscience when entering dreamstate / astral world ?

i to mostly tend to 'hmmm when is it going to happen' rather than just letting go while keeping awakend conscience.

Liquid, when you get to that point, the farthest you get, relax. Dont try and force the split. Relax, relax, relax yourself out of your body.

I don't know if this might work for you, but it usually works well for me. Many times I've been told not to try at night, but I've tried lots of times when I wake up, and it seems harder for me...


Anyway, this is how I do it. It might be unusual since i made it up....

At night when I'm really tired, I think lots of thoughts to keep my mind busy, but my body relaxed. I focus on not drifting off and I focus on controlling all my thoughts, at the same time getting comfortable so my body can relax.. After about half an hour, my body begins to fall alseep while my mind is still awake since I kept it busy (I think...) That's when I get sleep paralysis (When you're mind is awake but your body is asleep and you can't move, you feel paralized.) Once I'm at the sleep paralysis, leaving is easy because I am fully aware of whats going on, and it's not hard for me to separate since my body is asleep. As I separate, I also hear voices sometimes. I don't seem to pay attention though. I also hear drum beats, and doors, and popping sounds. And so I float out. I've heard from a few people from other websites telling me that this is "WRONG" and that I shouldn't do it like this.... but there really isn't a wrong or right technique. Choose whichever one works best for you.

did it last night, and i got to a point were i was allmost dreaming but still awake - a tiny bit of dream would start and i am back out of the dream. my body also felt numb and thick but not paralized.

what i did:
so just with deap breathing, relaxing and keeping the mind awake with concentrating on a white globe infront of me while feeling my energy body with 3rd eye + heart chakra - maybe still to much mind on things maybe little  less i should do ?
