Hello all, im wondering if anyone has any experience reaching the "astral screen" effect where you are watching your "minds eye" on a screen in front of you, sort of like a movie theatre.

Has anyone experienced this and have any tips on reaching this stage? Im thinking that this will be the next point in my 'development' per say, so any information or knowledge would be helpful.

Thanks in advance,

Ben

hello!
Yes, I've experienced the effect many times...I don't know how to make full use out of it yet (I've heard that this is a perfect way of becoming clairvoiant)...It just appears all of the sudden, I can't control it. Sometimes I get it seconds before I fall asleep...where am I then..hmm...no idea ...The screen is very clear, exactly like the ones in the cinema...I usually see some strange films, physics/mathematical equasions..or instructions..for example...how does the snowflake get it's unique structure and shape

a bit of info here... http://www.astralpulse.com/forums/viewtopic.php?t=13707&highlight=astral+screen

good luck!

Funny you say this Ben as I just woke up from having an experience with the screen.  It was good fun, very entertaining.  I dont know how I got there exactly, I was in F3 for a bit, then F2, then the screen and was kind of going from one to the next so I am not sure.  I will be working on it though.  I will get back to you if I come up with anything.

oooo dude i experience this aqll the time but I nvere knew what it was until now. like while im trying to go to bed or when i wake up and go back to sleep it almost always happens. its like a dream that im watching, everything is third person. like im a ghost just observing the world. they did a skit off off this in the andy milonakis show i think. it shows him sleeping then it the camera goes up his nose and into his brain and shows his dream and hes sitting in a movie theater watching his dream lol.

I believe its an f2 overlay ;)

I get this effect on and off, i think it would be a nice thing to learn to control it. Il report any findings :D

and good link hannah!

One of the differences may revolve around a stronger sense of self in the astral screen effect in that you watch a movie screen with a strong background effect of the self doing the watching. Also, in focus 10 there is the tedency to revert far more asier back to the physical context, and as such the images of focus 10 are far less stable. In a sense then, focus 21 (with the astral screen) operates with a diferent background context (non-physical sense of self).

^ so if we get the "screen" we almost projected? because ive never had an ap/obe but when i see the screen thing, i feel weird... like i feel like im completely isolated from my surounding, but i can still hear whats going on around me.

I get this effect sometimes just as I am awakening.  I thought it was referred to as a type remote viewing.  I do not know how to control it though.  I have tried to enter the screen several times but have not been successful.  If you have ever seen time lapse photography, say of the clock in Grand Central station where you seen a whole days events in five minutes with the clock hand running fast and people zipping back and forth, well I have seen this type on the screen effect and one of the best was of a building that seems to have passed several thousand years of architectural design changes while I watched. It was like something out of the Time Machine movie.  I can also observe people on the street but am unable to focus my vision close enough to get a street sign.  Sometimes the people will even come up close and look at me as if they are looking at the screen.

I see the screen all the time. It happens for me, when I wake up and then i just rest. I dont go to sleep, i just close my eyes and relax it rejuevenates me and I get to watch the screen  . But when I see it, it like 1st person and 3rd person at the same time. I see what going on and all in 3rd person, but it also is like im there 1st person, its weird, but cool.

It's what happens when you're going to sleep but you're still aware- your brain starts to dream and you're "still there" to see it without being "in"  the dream.  When you're going to sleep it's called "hypnogogic imaging" and when you're waking up it's called "hypnopomp".  But it's the same thing.  It can be a precursor to OBE if you can stay aware- if you let them "suck you in" then you just fell asleep.

I have seen this a couple times.

I was on top of a mountain in an ap. I went into a building and there were 3 or 4 people watching this tv screen.

The picture on it was a mountain that was exploding like a volcano. Then it changed to a fire.

It was weird as heck!
