Seeing year 3.000

In my experience I was looking at the clouds and wished to see the future. I just randomly chose year 3.000, then the environment started changing.

I couldn't transpose myself to the time and space, but I appeared in front of a news stand and picked up a magazine. It had many pictures and articles.  

I saw images of a giant robot building a structure, a tower or building of some sort. It was night-time, but there was a gentle light of distinct colour illuminating the place (gray, purple?).

Then I saw articles on extinct animals, cultures and technology. My country still existed and maybe so did the language I speak (portuguese).

There was a picture of a beautiful house, the sky was dark and cloudy, but there was no pollution apparently.  

I didn't read any explanations, I just saw the images and somehow felt and perceived the story and the meaning of them. I felt as though the humanity had gone through an awakening to the environmental causes and great technological breakthrough, but it was not clear that they were  more spiritually evolved.

I would like to know what you think of it, is it possible, did you notice any flaws? I was expecting life to be awful if not impossible in 1.000 years, it was not what I saw though.

What you saw might have been a possible future scenario in a figurative sense, but probably not a literal scene from the future.

If you saw strange multidimensional fractal imagery, would that have had any meaning to you? People usually see things that makes sense, or are somehow familiar... like the robot you saw.

It is likely that the real 3000AD would be wholly unfamiliar to a human - if you consider the possibility that some sort of technological singularity or many singularities might have occurred by then.

Yup, that's why I was careful saying that my language still existed. I read some things in portuguese, and there were animals that looked a little familiar, but the name was different.

Lean, I can't say, I only know about brazil because it was blown in my face. I don't think there will be disasters capable of physically destroying whole continents, but I can't tell much for the few things that I saw, I don't recall everything.  :confused:

What you saw was the future based on what is currently unfolding. One thing I know is that we as humans of this planet are going to ascend beyond the limitations of the physical body and limitations of the mind. Try to get hold of an e-book called 'Ra - The law of one', it will help you understand more concerning your experience.

People tend to have this perception that the world keeps getting worse and worse. But in fact, some things get better, some get worse.

We may have more violent movies and music nowadays, for example, but we don't have nearly the amount of racism that we did in the 50's (at least here in the US).

Kodemaster, that's true. I was mainly referring to the ecological issues. They always say we will run out of resources in less than 100 years, water supply, trash disposal areas, the ever increasing consumistic trend. I don't know how we will solve these problems, but I know they will be solved.

You think these two (violent movies and "decreasing" amount of racist activity) are connected?

Using your analogy we don't have the wisdom of ancient times, because there have never been more printed books on the planet...

I'm not sure I agree with you.  I live in the south and I worked  in the same place for 9 years and about 30% of the place was very racist (KKK-loving), 1/3 vaguely racist (racial jokes ok) and about 1/3 didn't care one way or the other.  There was maybe one other person who was offended by overt racism in the place, other than me.  It is interesting to note that he was Jewish and I'm Puerto Rican.  No black people even worked there (while I was there.)
Also, I find that the homosexual is the new 'minority' in which even people that seem to be against racism see no problem in discriminating against homosexuals.  Thus I think discrimination has changed focus from racism to 'hatred against homosexuals, in part fueled by religious fundamentalism, but deeper yet, fear of 'catching' it.

I agree with the quote.  Sex, violence and hate sells, so that is why you see that in movies.  Even the media focuses on the saddness of others instead of sharing the GOOD that happens in the world.  Just another way for those whom love to dwell in the darkness to carry on....tsk, tsk..

Oh, I'm gone all right.  It took a while to really get to know people, and I left that place as soon as I had the chance.  It is Florida, and of course, Florida has a lot of different pockets of ethnicity, and the place where I used to work was all-white.  Luckily I live in a place where people are a lot more open minded, but it took me years to find out how people I used to work with really felt.  One person in particular, whom I knew from school (tech school) who I considered a friend and used to hang out with some latin people I knew, years later (by coincidence we ended up working together)  said to me "you all look alike to me."  That's the kind of stuff I discovered when I got to know people better.  I'm just sorry it took me that long to figure some people out.
BTW, what I said about homosexuality being the new "ok to discriminate on" I didn't mean the south-I meant that in this country it is slowly becoming ok to discriminate against.  The gov. is even trying to pass laws making sure homosexuals don't have the option to be married.  To me this is just an opportunity to take rights away from citizens (or to make sure they don't get them).

i just think there is some kind of matrix that connects us all, even the lost and corrupt ones...we live on the same planet breathing the same air..too much energy on this planet to not be connected in other dimensions we cannot percieve..im sure every single person on that planet have at least hundreds if not thousands of the same thoughts and ideas of all the others before them...it will take someone probably take millions of years  to think of a thought that someone from earth has not already thought of (or maybe just a fraction of a second) but, it is not impossible to dream or wonder about thoughts that never have exsisted or have been thought of before. Im sure thats how some universe's have been created or started.

Andrew, to get back on track, I think it's entirely possible that you had a glimpse into the "literal" future since time as we know it, is nothing more than an illusion. All of physical time has allready occured. So, embrace what you saw and cherish the gift. Try to go back to the same time if you can to learn more.

The Bible says there will be 1000 years where there will be peace and harmony upon the earth, but all Hell will break loose before we get there. Perhaps that's the time you were in.
