I've been having OBE's for a long time now upon awakening (on purpose) and I want to phase/go astral. I asked a while ago what I should do and I was told to focus my energy witin as opposed to out.. and I've tried that on several occasions now and everytime it only throws me out of my relaxed state.. it makes me more awake and I lose the imagery/vibrational enegery.

What should I do? How do I go about going astral once I'm OoB?

If you are already out of body and want to go astral, this is a list of things that have worked for me:
Fly really really fast- upwards like going to outer space.  Sometimes you phase-shift into astral "planes".  It always happens to me when I try to go to other planets.
Fly through a mirror- that has sent me "somewhere" else.
If you're in the RTZ and encounter "reality fluctuations" (like a door or window that doesn't belong there) go through them.
Happy travels!

I've tried flying straight up.. I was getting closer to the stars but I closed my eyes and when I opened them I was in the physical..

The concept of going into mirrors kind of scares me.. so no go on that one, and I've yet to notice a reality fluctuation.

I guess I'll try the first method again. With my eyes open.

Hah, the irony kills me.

Look at it this way. Get in to your OOB position, and make everything go black. Be so sure everything goes black. Imagine it, and watch it. Expect it. Whatever you do, just convince yourself everything is going black.

Which means don't say to yourself, "I want everything to go black" and be pretty sure it won't but it might but you don't know. Just like a dream, MAKE it all black.

If you decide you cannot do this, you obviously aren't ready for it. Although the difference between being ready or not is simply accepting that any little thing isn't what it seems. Even astral projecting. Simple enough? Not really.
As it as written, now and forever shall be. In the name of the Stevo, amen.
