I wasn't going to post about this dream,  but I keep finding myself thinking about it and I'm finding a couple things interesting and wanted to hear if others have experieced a similar theme.

My dreams are pretty epic, so I'm going to break it down.

I was underground.   Not man made but a natural cavern.  I could kick myself because I didn't pay attention to my clothing.  I was speaking to a crowd of people that were seated in carved out cavern rock.  Here's the kicker...I was totally speaking in a different language.  I have no idea what the hell I was saying, but I was speaking it like I knew what the f...I was saying.  It was bizarre!  I had a feeling of the language but have no feeling of it..LOL..hard to explain.

I haven't googled anything yet, but intend to look up something about small civilizations that once lived underground.  I'm thinking there has got to be more out there that we haven't even discovered.  The second was the language I was speaking...what's up with that??  I've played the piano successfully in dreams but a different language?

Comments are needed!

dont think paying attention to your clothing would have made so much difference, would it ;)

Anyway, I also speak languages in dreams I dont understand,
but with me its not really that strange of an experience, its as if in a
dream i could basicly say what I want and the people would know what
I am thinking anyway. (cant explain it much better) So sometimes I
can speak to monster-like creatures or fake foreign languages and
they would still understand me.

You'd be surprised what you can get from clothing..

I've never spoken to monsters..cool!  Nice to know it's pretty common, thanks.

There was something about underground cities in the Encyclopedia of the Occult (Greer) that I read recently. I think it was under the Satanism section (or the legend of Faust [which is related to Satanism], but there is a huge amount of media that relates or alludes to Faust, so I can't be specific on that), or something a crazy journalist wrote about a secret civilization of mole-people. There was also an entry about that and the green children, I believe - they came back, same age as they vanished, all green-skinned now, and talked about an underground civilization. Maybe that was in a mysteries book. There's also something under gnomes that would be worth researching.

In any case, that's really interesting. If I had my mystic knowledge down, I could be more specific (and mystical).

As far as languages in dreams, I've spoken at least Mandarin, Spanish, Japanese, Russian, Italian, Latin, and Aramaic. I have crazy dreams sometimes ...

I don't know exactly what you mean about clothes ... do you forget those a lot in dreams?

First off...I agree, the clothing you are wearing can give you many hints as to where you are and what you are doing.

And yes, I have done the whole language thing too.  It's pretty messed up when you know what you are saying with out actually knowing the words you are using.  Of course I have been accused of that when I am awake some times too.

It was interesting when I was going to hypnotherapy I kinda had the opposite.  I knew exactly what I wanted to say and words I wanted to use but it was like I did not know how to speak the words.  So it ended up that there was very little verbal communication between me and the person who hypnotized me.
