Almost got hit by a car; dream interpretation

I had a dream a while back which seemed pretty quick, like it was interrupting the daily scheduled program. I was on a road all of a sudden with what seemed to be an expanse of darkness surrounding the road, sort of like a void. Then all of a sudden this car is coming at me, not driving at me, it's already crashed and it's flippin' and rollin' and coming at me at great and increasing speed. The thing is, I didn't flinch. I don't think I really had time to flinch. All of a sudden the car which was on a direct path to smash me flips over me, as if guided by an unseen hand, then smashes into a ditch.

The thing is, I felt compelled to check if their were survivors, but I sort of had this feeling of 'oh well, things happen. it's okay'.  :question:

I'm not a dream expert, but I've had quite a few, especially lucid...  But I might venture to say that you may have just had a close call in some area of your life recently and this dream is just showing it to you in a different way, or in a more simple way of looking at recent changes going on in your life.  You may have had the feeling especially recently, in daily life, that you are being looked out for.

I have learned that many dreams are showing us an alternate way of seeing what is going on in our subconscious mind, or general thinking patterns that have had strong effects on us.
