i dont know exactly what vibrations feel like but last night i was having trouble sleeping and when i finally started dozing off (im pretty sure i was in the half asleep state) i felt this vibration in my torso and it felt like it reverberated through the rest of my body.  i totally freaked out and woke up disappointed at the fact that i freaked out... is this the vibrations i keep reading about?? what do i do when i start feeling them?? i apologize for my ignorance but im a newbie at this. thanks

i dont know how it is for the other but i know 3 forms of 'vibrations' although 1 isnt real vibrating.

1. The real feeling as though your whole body is vibrating at a high rate. i experienced this only once and just in a dream lol.

2. The feeling as though your body is swinging with about two swings per second. i get this feeling sometimes after a lengthy energy work session (in deep relaxation) or in trance.

3. This arent real vibrations but it is the feeling that i get before i project so i call it vibrations because everyone does
It is a very strong energy sensations in your whole body. its as though the whole body is a big chakra that responds very strong.

You have to make your own experience because everybody feels different things during the exit and many dont feel vibrations at all.

To compare with jalef:

Sometimes if feels if your body vibrates in a 'wave'-  The same feeling but going from head to toes, and back up.

This is what I call 'feeling loose' or 'rocking'.  Sometimes it feels like on a swing (when I am in the recliner' or from side to side (laying down in bed.)  This is my particular sure-fire way to know I'm on the way out.

I got the swaying feeling in my legs just the other night but not the rest of my body

The vibrations which seem associated with OBEs are unmistakable for me. I've never been electrocuted, but I image it would feel something like the vibrations. There's no pain, but its like tremendous energy rushing through every cell of my body, and every cell is 'BUUZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZ'ing, sometimes there is a very loud roar in my ears/head with this – I guess like the sound an immense waterfall might make.

MisterJingo

Just to add: Sometimes the vibrations can be quite uncomfortable but ymmv.

Yeah but with time there cool to deal with.

Definately. The main time when they are uncomfortable is when I wake up paralysed, not fully awake, and my body is roaring. This can produce a reflex fear reaction which reduces as I come to my sences.
Sometimes though the vibrations/paralysis state produce some very uncomfortable feelings. Examples are feeling like I'm sliding backwards and upwards (its like a vertigo sensation as if gravity is flipping and I might fall into the sky), feeling like the weight of the universe is crushing me into a 2D plane. This one is hard to explain, but its like my mind/being has been spread diagonally across an immense distance/infinity and the weight is crushing down on making me a flat 2D plane. Other sensations remind me of psychedelics, I manage to force my eyes open and the walls are bending/waving/are different colours etc and I get a lot of 'coloured fluff/static.
A final one is a strange sort of paralysis, it's preceded by a sinking feeling in the chest and head and it's like gravity has intensified 10 fold. I get sucked to the bed and am paralysed, when I finally work up the effort to move, I might raise my head about a foot from the bed and the paralysis doesnt break, it just pulls me down to the pillow again. I either have to fight a lot to break it (it seems to take a long time) or just wait it out which usually involves falling back to sleep or projecting. My partner has seen me fighting this, so it's not just an hallucination on my part :).

I didnt experience your last sensation but the one that I don't like is when my heart is pounding like crazy in my chest. Its like I taked pill.

Its not scary but the feeling uncomfortable and I think its crazy. Because this feeling sure pound your heart for real and it can't be good for the heart...

If you are referring to the projection symptom, it is NOT the heart beating. Check your pulse and you would find that your heart has only slightly increased in speed. In reality, this is the heart center (chakra) pumping energy throughout your etheric body for the massive energy requirements of the projection.

A thank you I was knowing that  the heart chakra was activated but was thinking the heart was really pounding fast.
