HI

I heard about the tecnnique to ask my dream figures to tell me that I'm dreaming next time. But when I say that I am dreaming to anyone in my dreams they always denie it. Or they think I am crazy, or they ignore me, or they just say noo you can't be dreaming.
How do you talk to them about dreaming?
thnx!

What I've found, is that if nobody in the dream believes you when you say they're dreaming, you just need to do something you can only do in a dream, like put your hand through a wall, or levitate into the air.

I was in a crowd of people once in a lucid dream.I told them that we were all dreaming. They didn't believe me, until I took the hat off my head & put my hand right through it.They all looked something like this

I've also found that the more you do that, the more you can have lucid dream conversations & meaningful exchanges w/ dream characters. It's often led me to a realization that some dream characters are "drones" (thoughtforms w/little real awareness), & others seem tohave a conciousness of their own.I can usually tell the difference now in a LD.Sometimes I think that they could be "real" beings, while opther times I think they must be parts of myself.I'm not sure.  :?

Fascinating.I know exactly what you're talking about

I actually had a lucid dream last night: I asked if there was anyone that's isn't just a part of the dream, that has an awareness of their own. There wasn't All the figures were projections of my subconcious, nothing more.

And yet, other times, I've gotten a positive response. Sometimes it's a yes, sometimes no.I wonder why?

The ones that give a positive response are much more interesting to talk to, and really do have a "feel" that's very different.to me, they feel more "alive" somehow.

absolutely - i get a kind of reoccuring dream where im with these other 3 people my age, always the same people 2 boys and 1 girl, where we are often in some sort of adventure or exploring or something. what i find is that the characters and environments really resonate with me, the next morning i cant help feeling upset and lonely because i cant go back there and meet them again, completely different to other dream characters who have no logic or understanding, and ive never felt emotions for ordinary dream characters like that. definately something to consider here.

Well I know when I'm dreaming or at least I've never had to ask a dream person if I'm dreaming.
We get along well together usually and I can speak with anyone whom I wish to.
My dream people mostly understand what they are and how they exist at least to the best that I'm able to explain it to them.
They are like real persons in a way to me but live and exist only in the reality of my subconscious mind.
I enjoy my visits to this dream world and am almost always aware that I am only visiting there, a fact I often mention to my dream characters.
They come complete with bodies that I can touch, smell, feel, see clearly, and what is also amazing each one has their own individual personal aura about them.

Leilah

Last night I was talking to a dream figure. I told her i was dreaming and when I did so, she simply looked down and nodded her head.

So, i dont know. She still stuck around for awhile though. Anyone think she was just a dream figure or real "person"?

Well as I've stated before dream people are as real as they feel so to a person.
They are real at least to one in their own conscious/ subconscious mind and maybe in a way in their composition being made up of whatever atoms or neurons are involved in their creation.

By the way its rather interesting that your name is Leilah because I once met a dream girl in her early 20's that told me that Leilah was her name when I asked her.
She was a college student, dark brunette with a short ponytail, slim of face and figure, with a fair complexion with slight freckles.
She wore dark slim fit boot cut blue jeans, brown boots, and a white collared blouse.
She was at the front of her classroom at the black board with her male professor who was quite annoyed that I was interrupting his lesson.
I tried to explain to her that she was a dream person and existed only in my own mind.
She simply looked at me smiling since she was really very friendly and in a simple minded manner yet with understanding said " Really? Wow, that's like COOL!!"
She went back to her lesson and I went on my way.
I never did see Leilah or Lei as her name was for short but she always lives on in my mind as a pleasant memory.

Gothika, that's interesting.

I happen to be a brunette, slim of face and figure and...... that's about it. But. I have had at least a dozen dreams which have taken place in classroom (who hasn't though?).

It'd be strange if your "dream girl" was named, specifically "Leilah".

Yes. That would be really strange. Because, now... here I am talking to you. I would have manifested from your dream world... to the AstralPulse forum!!! (ok OK, I'm just joking   )

Lol, that is funny yet rather coincidental all in one.
I thought that you would find the dream interesting but didn't realize just how similar you were in appearance to my "dream girl" character.

Yes. I'd have to agree with you Gothika.

It's ironically coincidental.

i convinced the people in my dream last night that i and they are dreaming. i stuck my finger though my arm hehe and then everyone else realized it and went there ways. owell needless to say then the 'dream area' was empty and i awoke from that
