Once one masters Lucid Dreaming, so to speak, is it possible to make the dream reality as realistic as the one we're using our computers?

 How hard is it, really.

And, how many of your know where I can find  TRULY good book.

Ryuji

well in full blown lucid control. you can make your dream what ever you want to do, experience or from there have an obe - even be a platform to do magick in.

to gain lucid. the only hard part/limit is yourself. the time of results depends on how you take it on on learning lucid control.

as for books not know off i used various techniques from here and there of the net - googled for it and just starting to work through the techniques these some of what i used.

.  do a dream check. while awake look at watch or sign with words on it and away, then look back. note the time and the word - if same then i say i am not dreaming but awake if i was dreaming it would be like - here you imagine a full change of the scenario into what it would be like if you were dreaming

.  before bed i make a goal. say to my self as i drift off "tonight i will realize that i am dreaming, take full lucid control and do a meditation"

.  read about it. helps to set mood and make your subconscious take note you want to go lucid

.  30mins to hour of peacefulness before sleep. getting relaxed and letting go of all troubles. helps with remembering what you dreamed.

.  after you wake up. do it relaxed don't go 900% rush of things to do and so on. go though your dreams while writing them done noting to yourself that you should have noticed that you are dreaming and next time you will  and go lucid

.  also the 1 hour earlier alarm than you used to when you would have normally got up. set it. wake up and go back to sleep (haven't done this one)

it will be good to start dream journeying as it will help you to recognize that you are dreaming and also with remembering it all. make friend with your dreams rather than hating go to bed.

i would say the hardest part is definitely staying in the dream rather than gaining lucid. one tend to get so excited during lucid that you wake up :P

"What are you doing here, Nasrudin? his neighbor asks. "I'm looking for a key which I lost
in the wood?" Nasrudin replies. "Why don't you look for it in the wood?" says the neighbor,
wondering at Nasrudin's folly. "Because there is much more light here"

Ryuji

Computers? Lucid dreaming can feel more real than this physical reality.

There's a book called Lucid dreaming in 30 days, by Keith Harary and Pamela Weintraub, it's an excellent book, I have a copy of it but it's translated to Portuguese. I believe you can find the English one on the internet.

I noticed that when I used a meditation CD prior to go to sleep, I had a much better dream recollection ratio. So, I think I should keep doing that.
