Shadow People in my dreams

I has a dream last night that I could fly. I say dream but it actually felt that I was flying etc.

Near the end of the dream I was preparing to take off from the front of my house, (it was dark at this point) when I heard a noise, it was like a loud scream. I looked round and saw a dark figure running across the road, even though it was dark I could make out the shape, it was like a human. It was large and thin I did not see any eyes but I could feel that it was looking at me. At this point I woke up I think through shock of seeing this thing.

Has anyone had a similar experience to this? I am not scared of this dream in fact I loved the sensation of flying. I'm just curious as to what this thing is.

Wow, that is extremely similar to my first encounter with a shadow person. I fell into sleep paralysis and left my body (on purpose of course). I flew out the fornt of my house and was flying down my street when I seen this shadowy human like figure run from my house towards me on the street. I flew down towards it but once I got close my projection ended. I encountered this shadow person again a few days later and finished him off.

lol. Wow that brings back some sad memories. About a year ago I was walking home in the dark, with a candle in my hand, when I got scarred by my own shadow.

Yeah there are a lot of stories on here about this kind of stuff.  Just use the search and look for "Shadow People" and "Dweller on the threshold".  

It is a very common experience with only a very, very few of them anything of major concern.

99.9% of the people report no further problems once they confront the shadow.

I think they are just a subcouncious manifestation, a barely sentient product of your own energy.
