Just felt the VIBRATIONS! Now what?

Congratilations,

Try pushing the vibrations all through your body, and to raise them in frequency. I advise waiting until they are strong enough and though your whole body before you try and seperate, otherwise it might not work.

There are obviously different techniques you can use to seperate, when your ready, you could use any of these techniques, I found the lifting out technique easy in my first couple of out of body experiences, but then i started using the roll-out and found that easier for awhile, so it all really depends on the individual, so you'll just have to keep experimenting.  :)

How do I "push" the vibrations to the rest of the my body? Do I mentally will it?

I'm still not clear what I'm meant to be doing when I feel vibrations - ie,. am I meant to do anything at all or just relax and enjoy them?

Enjoying them sounds like a great approach. Whenever I start to do something they slowly fade.

Yes, mentally will it. It doesnt require much effort, even becoming mentally aware of the rest of your body should be enough. You should feel the vibrations reach down to rest of your body. Do what feels natural.
Just relax, and let them run throughout your body, get use to them.
Once you're confident then go for the seperation.

When I get the vibrations I tend to try to sink into them, feeling myself going through my mattress.  It's always prolonged my vibration experience, but my success at OBE using this technique has been spotty, probably because these efforts cause some sort of tension in my body.  Which is bad.

What HAS worked for me is surrender.  I call it "flopping."  I flop like a rag doll - - - rag dolls have no bones or muscles, after all!  The few times I've managed to let go entirely, I've had an OBE.

Keep it up!  It's fun!

I'm so happy!!
Earlier today, I listened to some Gateway CDs, then after they ended, I just tried to stay relaxed and hold concentration, then after a while, I felt the vibrations!!
They were quite violent vibrations! At first, I was a bit scared, then I told myself there's nothing to be scared of, and to get ready for lift-off, and I was really hoping that it would happen.
The vibrations were only on my upper torso though.
they stopped for a while, then returned after a very brief moment, continued, and then they stopped. :(
I was beginning to really enjoy them too!

So what's meant to happen when/after you feel the vibrations?

What can I do to exit? Should I be trying to climb rope then? Or should I try to roll over, or just mentally will myself to lift off?

Why did the vibes stop?? :(
