Hi Tisha!

Started out with a sad feeling - like I was "stuck" in my development, and couldn't get any further. I asked for "guidance", and - surprise - my girlfriend got the book "The ninth insight" (It's called "Den niende indsigt" in Danish).

(I read it christmas night, and it is REALLY good !!)

So - it got to be a great holiday after all *S* ;-) .... And some great time spend with the family and some friends ;-) ...

I hope, that you had a great holiday as well !?!?

Hey Tisha,

I had a prety good holiday. The only thing that brought me down was the passing of The Clash's lead singer, Joe Strummer (Reast in peace, man!).

I got some lovely things, had some delicious food/drinks and got to see most of my family. I live in Central NY and we had some nasty blizzards on Christmas Day. There were snow emergencies in several nearby towns...my godmother had to stay over night at my cousins' house because of it!

All in all it was good. How was yours?

Take care,

Jeni

For Solstice, I had my boyfriend (up from a business trip in Florida) and my sister and her family (from Massachussetts) to visit - - - and managed to find sleeping space for everyone. The four-year-old boy (a cutie!) did only minor damage to my new drywall, and broke only one ornament.  And the baby was sick . . . but we all managed to enjoy a lot of quality time together in my tiny little townhome.

Then, for Christmas (I celebrate all holidays, more excuses to party!), most of my extended family was scattered about the U.S. and my boyfriend was with his family in Portland.  So . . . . I had a lovely dinner with my daughter on Christmas Eve, and we opened gifts in the morning - - - then she went off with her Dad for the rest of the day.  I spent the rest of the day cleaning up the mess!

Now my daughter is off to Pittsburgh with her father, on vacation during winter break, and I'm all by myself until tomorrow, when I pick up my beau at the airport, and we hop in the car and head to Virginia for a big New Year's party at his brother's house.

Doesn't it seem (to some of us at least) that the holidays are all about travel anymore?

As for presents, I went bananas buying gifts for everyone . . . as usual . . . but this time I paid CASH, living up to my promise to myself.  Everything was a "hit" (I think!). And Santa was good to me too . . . I received jewelry this year!  From three people!! http://www.astralpulse.com/forums/images/icon_Smile_big.gif" border=0>  I feel like a duchess!
