EDIT: Wrong from, sorry, if a moderator can move it to "Astral Experiences" I'd appreciate but I don't mind either way.

I failed an attempt around 6:00AM, failed another attempt around 7:30AM, finally induced SP at 9:30AM, and out I rolled (I actually did I induce at the 7:30 time, but for some reason I though I wasn't in it yet, so I sat there for like a minute and then waking up out of it I realized I missed an opportunity).

Anyway, I rolled out, and it started out dark again, and I could feel myself floating. So I try to see, I try hard, and I start to see the floor and some light, so ok, I think "I can see the floor, and make out a few objects in the darkness which beams of light (it looked cool because if you've ever seen a cloud with beams of light going through it this is what I was seeing at this point). I say "clarity now" twice, and like an image being sharpened each time, my vision got very clear. My room, it looked... perfect. The light coming through the window lit up the room perfectly. It felt really good. I saw a small robot looking thing I guess an entity on the floor, and I flew over it above my saying "hey what's up." I then realized my mistake of flying over the bed and quickly floated off it toward my door which was wide open. My bed didn't have me laying there, but it had an imprint of as if I was there but invisible. At the door I could feel myself being pulled back, but grabbing onto the floor with my hands, and I pulled myself out of the room. My little brother's door was wide open, and I was wondering if he was in there. And then I saw him. I started yelling out to him his name and if he could see me, and since I wasn't expecting him to, he was just looking around like nothing was going on. I start turn and the experience is over I'm back in my body. I just remember how everything looked so clear and perfect, so I'm ready to go again.

Now for the bad experience. Before I roll out, I think about the possibility of encountering a negative entity. (this was out of curiosity than fear at this point). So I roll out, and as usual I can't see at first. And as my vision forms, I see a face above me, kind of human like, but slightly disoriented, with long black hair, and it made a really scary noise, which scared the crap out of me so I'm back in my body. I'm beginning to roll out, and all of a sudden I think "F*ck You!!!!!!!" toward the entity, and it only made it worse lol. I hear the noise again, and I feel it jump onto my shoulders, and I got a really odd feeling. It wasn't bad, it was like a tickle-shock lingering feeling on my shoulders (hard to describe). With that I'm back in my body. All of sudden the SP is starting to come on again uncontrollably like its trying to pull me back. With that I fight it, get out, and my morning experience is done.

About the bad experience, after waking up, I realize it wasn't scary at all. It was more a nuisance. Will it stop me from having OBEs? I think it encouraged me because I finally faced a fear and it wasn't bad at all

Thank you for the reading.

Now im guessing the reason you saw that, was because you were thinking about it, clearing your mind and putting your worries into an imaginery box known as an Energy Conversion Box should help you with some of these problems, its what they used at the Monroe institute before inducing OBE's.

The key to overcoming scary OBE's is just to have them a few times and realize they arent that bad, like you said.  I struggled with them for a while and still sort of do but knowing from experience that there really isnt a reason to freak out about it helps alot.

I've met this entity once,  too, but not since I use self - defense practice. Actually, this thing is very powerful. I have a dog who likes coming to my bed and looking at me at night. However, when I say my prayers and make the protective circle around my bed before sleeping, my dog can never pass its border - he will just stand by it and whine.

Check out the psychic defense forum and posts your experience and question(s) there. There might be someone there to give advice about a psychic shield or a similar defense.

Hey guys thanks for the replies...

But I think I brought the experience on me (aka created the entity). I had the thought of it before leaving, and well, it pretty much happened from there.

I can't really say I'm psyched out right now because of this.

But I have had to stop projecting for now due to religious issues. All this Astral Projecting, may have been against it. Now I'm stuck inbetween weather or not me being able to project very easily is a God given power or the devil's power. I don't want to play with fire.

Which means I had to pass up another opportunity to project today. I was exhausted in the afternoon, and went for nap, and got hallucinations of me laying on my bed watching the TV in black and white (what is with these black and white hallucinations I've been having?), and all of a sudden I felt the SP hit, but it was a scary hit, like I was dying. I seriously for a moment thought I was, because for a moment I lost awareness and thought I was actually watching TV and my hallucination was real. But once I was in it everything was fine. Shook myself out of it.

I'm working on a Lucid Dream to talk to God personally.

What's this devil thing you speak of?

Each person must determine his relationship with God/(A higher Power or whatever name one wishes to use) by themself.
So understand that I am Not attempting to advise you on a religious issue.
As I see it the ability to go out of body is a spiritual ability not a religious issue. The fact that so many people have projected in the past and continually go OOB every day shows (to me if noone else) that the decision to pursue the OBE is an individual choice. If God really wanted to prevent you from going OOB then surely he would have already let this be known to you in some form or another.

I don't want this to turn into a religious debate, so I'll just answer this question. I ask to respect my answer, I'm not asking you ot believe it as said, this is from my belief.

Quote from: kiwibongaWhat's this devil thing you speak of?

I don't believe in many beings having power. I'm Catholic, and according to my religion, the powers that we posses are either given to us from God, or Satan. Satan only has power because God let's him have power. And Satan is very deceptive. It's a part of our test here on earth. If Satan didn't have power, there would be no evil. But God's power is much greater. Because the Bible doesn't really mention OBEs, then whos power is it that I'm using when having an OBE? My power, yes, but from who did it come from? I really don't want to sin against God (again, this is according to my religion). If my power to project very easily is coming from him, I'll find out soon.

This has already been hard on me. I've heard so much from both sides, the only way I think I can come to answer is if I talk to him in LD or manage to get deep enough in prayer where my subconscious won't just be answering back to me.

I'm actually not to put down by this, because this is turning into a challenge. This has been my first real debate with myself.

And Grey, God let's us make our own decisions, regardless if it may be against him. It's free will ;) He let's things happen, and generally won't interfere. (again my religion)

Well good for you blade on your experiences. Although I am no expert, I seem to remember something about 'going forth in spirit' in the bible somewhere and assume that this could be a reference to OOBE's.

Anyway good luck in your personal search within.
