Hello,
I'm new in this forum. Sometimes before falling asleep I hear voices/music/etc.. sometimes I see things. That's generally nice, but most of the time I'm in this state for a few seconds until I realize that ;) Most of the time I get into this state 3-4 times before I fall asleep. So my first question is whether it's possible to be in this state for a longer period of time? It happened a few times that when I did that I were in a state where I could easily create/imagine a world around me where everything was so realistic (sometimes I felt vibrations).. I've even spoken with my grandma once for a few moments.. I haven't heard any words then but I could communicate with her easily.

About a week ago a weird thing happened. Before going to sleep I thought about an intention to see something about the purpose of my life. A few moments later I've seen a face of a cute brunette, turning her head in my direction. The I saw her brown, shiny eyes.. The next thing that happened was a crying baby (when I've watched the scene I had a soft feeling that I know what will happen). The baby probably cried because of a man changing his face, in the moment when it started to cry he was wearing a mask that was supposed to lighten it/make it happy. I've opened my eyes to check if this isn't real although I knew that this happened only "in my head". For a second or two the sound of crying baby was mixed with the sounds outside of my house.. What do You think about this? Were these just random scenes or they were carrying some message  for me?

Thanks for help! I appreciate it!

The Present Moment

That is the hypnogogic state. You can stay in it longer by practicing lucid dreaming and phasing techniques, or, better yet, use it as a gateway to astral projection. It's possible for any of your senses to overlap between the dream and waking state, so you may hear or see things in your room that don't exist in the physical.
