Lucid Playtime

This was superb.  One of my best - mainly in relation to my lucidity and intelligent explanation.

Came from a dream.  I was sat on top of a bus.  There was someone sat near me, who I knew.  (I don't know him in physical reality).  There were also two people sat at the back of the bus playing computer games and there was a constant humming loud noise from the game (I suspect this is my perception of the vibes that I was experiencing - my brain turned them into a computer game for the purposes of my dream).  I walked down the aisle towards the back and became lucid.  I talked to the two computer players (these I do know in physical reality) and told them the noise was too loud, but in a joking way.  I then went back to the man at the front and told him we were in a dream.  I proved it by pushing my arms through the seat.  He did the same.  I said to him, "I'm off to play, if you want to join me, you are more than welcome."  He did.  I told him to keep clapping his hands to remain lucid.  As I clapped mine, the whole environment brightened and came into focus sharper.  It worked brilliantly!  I also told him that saying "clarity now" can work too.  Although, this didn't work for me and I said to him, "that one never seems to work with me."

I suspected that I wasn't going to lose my lucidity anyway, but I knew that clapping was an extra precaution, so throughout the whole experience I remembered to clap every so often.

I floated through the bus, the driver and landed in the road some 20ft ahead.  I turned to face the bus, put a huge grin on my face and waited for the bus to run me over.  The driver saw me and braked a little, but I beckoned him towards me.  I put my arms out wide and he drove the bus right through me.  This felt...awesome.  I felt a breeze and very slight sensations while the bus went through, but it was mild.

(The above paragraph is what I've been wanting to do since I started having OBEs, by the way.)

Then I was in a clothes shop with my friend.  He had on black & white stripey trousers and I was choosing something to try on.  This part is a little vague (down to forgetting rather than losing lucidity).

The next I remember is I've lost my friend and am in some kind of ballroom.  Females are preparing for some do.  One of them is singing a song called the "Twickenham Roll".  I begin to sing it too, making it up as I go along... "Here it comes, it's the Twickenham roll, Twickenham roll..." As I say the words 'Twickenham Roll' I float into the air, do a spin and land back down gently.  I'm most likely showing off my levitation skills.

Then I am back with my friend.  I ask him if he had a good time and he said he's now worried as while he was on his travels, he bumped into a female friend of his.  When he told her what he was doing, she told him that he might never get back into his physical body again and would be stuck forever.

I grabbed hold of his hand and told him he must NOT worry.  I explained that he could never get stuck, for the physical will always call us back when needed.  I said that it had been a long time (it felt like it) but that was because our physical bodies were naturally in their sleep cycle and wouldn't be needing us for a while possibly.  I then explained that when it was time for us to wake up, or need the toilet, or if there was an itch that needed scratching, we would be back.

I was very caring, but needed to get this across to him to show that he was alright.  I then said perhaps we were back already and I began to push my hands through something to see.  They went through, so I said, no we are still "away", so let's enjoy it.  I told him to stick with me this time.

Then the alarm went off!  And of course, I woke up.

I enjoyed that immensely.  If only I could programme myself to achieve lucidity every time.  :-D

Sounds like a great experience!  I wish I was there with you Sarah.  I have had an increase in experiences lately, maybe we will see each other soon on the "other side"!

Thanks for sharing.

Well atleast you showed someone how to become lucid.

In my last lucid dream I told my friend who was with me in the dream: "Its all just a dream"; he just looks at me in disbelieve and says: "No it isn't" or something similar. Kinda gave up on him right after since I was pretty suprised with the clarity of his answer etc.

Knightlight - Yes, one day we're bound to bump into each other.  Let's just hope we're both lucid at the time and remember!  :-D

Mydral - if your friend was dreaming (non-lucidly), he would say what he said.  To a non-lucid dreamer, the dream at the time is as much reality as physical reality is to us when we are awake.  Are you with me?  :-)

HA!  How funny would that be.  We need to come up with a code word to say to one another when we think we see each other.  I guess shouting our screen names at each other would jar our brains, maybe even shake us into a lucid state.

OK, if I spot you and I'm lucid, I'll tell you to wake up KNIGHTLIGHT and put your hands through something!  Ha ha.
