"When you twist the words, they die and they can longer be used.....I am suffering in dispare" Too frigging funny for words..... I love the hiccup at the end.

GANAMOHA

I stand at the threshold of what could be a new world

Original, (good) emo was back in the 80's, early 90's with good music, such as.. Iggy Pop. Nowadays, it's crappy punk pop 'music' where the people who listen to it are more interested in the scene than the music itself. Which sucks nonetheless. They listen to emo, and only emo. They have extremely closed minds. Although I don't usually care what anyone elses listens to, even if I hate it. If emos didn't take it so over the top, I wouldn't care about them.

The guy emos basically are.. girls. They wear make up, make out with guys, wear girl pants, litte boy t-shirts with band names such as 'Raging dark black unicorn dying in the twisted ill-fated river of terror'. And they usually don't even know the bands that they wear on their shirts. They have slightly shaggy hair, usually died black with a streak of another colour, and a bang that covers one eye.. always, and spike the hair at the back which is often coloured as well.

Girl emos have short, coloured hair, colourful socks and.. arm.. gloves.. things, black clothes, and stuff like that.

They both wear colourful converse shoes, and often enjoy swapping them with a fellow emo.

They slit their wrists, and say their life sucks, yet now it is for some reason 'cool' to be depressed and emo, so why would they care? They all have 40000 friends, and are the most immature kids in the world. They laugh and joke around, and whatnot, so they're obviously not depressed.

Oh, they also are usually christians. Believe it or not. I think at their little youth group things at church, the youth pastors tell them, "Okay, we have to be cool so people want to be christian." Seriously freaky stuff going on. They also use www.myspace.com very often, add thousands of other emos they don't even know, and post things on their 'friends'' pages such as, "IM EMO ADD ME IM EMO ADD ME IM EMO ADD ME IM EMO ADD ME".

*Ahem*

Hi Mitch

Wow!  Does that mean I'm an aging EMO?  Or a trendy agey?

I've just joined myspace at 38 years old?  It will bore me in 5 days, I know this, but so will most things to most people.

I prefer to think of myself as one of those animals (deja vu) who goes off to do their own thing.  I'm getting major deja vu here. Even the music and atmosphere/music.  It's doing my head in.

There is perhaps a theory that time is circular and if we catch ourselves on the journey "around", we experience deja vu or psychic stuff.

Interesting observation.

Yo. Sarah.
We all find nonsenses to believe in; it's part of being alive.

Mitch

I think you just turned this into a deja vu thread. :)
Oh well, much better then an emo thread.

Where can I read about that time circle theory? I've never heard of it. Seems interesting though. Or does "perhaps a theory" mean you just made it up? o.O
