Hi everybody...

I am a person who is still trying to project... Last night when I went to bed after meditation, I remember getting the vibes very soon, with occasional sinking feelings...

Then I lost awareness for a while... then suddenly the awareness came back... while my eyes were still closed, i started to see everything faintly...

When it got a little more clear... this was the part that scared me... I saw a very big white hand (only up-to the wrist) like a "this way" sign with the index finger pointed right at my face!  :-o

Oh man, with a speeding heart, i woke up... then I had to struggle for a while to go to sleep normally.

Well, I think I'm getting closer... getting used to these unexpected visions is the obstacle...

Meet u all in the next post with a pleasant (hopefully) experience...

Hey Guhan,

Everything you describe in your post shows you are making excellent progress. Fear will lessen as you get more familiar with these states and experiences.
I remember the first time I attempted to consciously project, I saw a hand too :). It was like a fist, then the hand opened in front of my face, the palm facing towards me.

I totally agree, but it's also convenient to tell people not to fight their fears but to comprehend them and to integrate them once assumed and understood.

I've had that inner scaring sensation when something is going to happen. Yes, it has even stopped me going any further, but it's necessary not to bury them in the deeps of our subconscious minds.

Some days ago I dealt with some other of my fears, as vertigo. I was having some days in a town close to the sea and I decided to jump from over the dock. The height was considerably and a heavy electricity flow was invading me from my perineum to my feet. I jumped with fear and joy, mixed together and the experience was good. I repeated it more times and each one of them I found out that the same sensation happened.

I've started to think that I haven't had more success in projecting due to that vertigo.

I hope not to have bothered you with these lines, but I thought it could be of interest. You know, everyone deals with his own apprehensions.

I agree with what you posted :). I didn't intent to imply one should repress these fears, simply that a lot of fears to do with OBE are panic related. Repeated experience of them (not being too scared to try again, or trying to ignore them) shows they have no basis and they slowly fade away.
I've had some pretty terrifying encounters during the vibrational state, with things by my head and screaming in my ears - but I saw them as a direct manifestation of blind panic. Perseverance and facing them made them go away.
