Hi everyone. I was a member a long time ago and am just now rejoining. I've been interested in AP for a long time and read about it off and on. In the past months I've been attempting again, as I took a long break. I have never achieved AP but just recently before my body and mind fall asleep I can just barely see through my eyelids. Is this showing me that I am any closer to projecting?  I know my eyes are completly shut, so I don't think its that. Thanks!

I would say that if you can see with your eyes closed, something is going on - you're on the right track. Most of the time this happens after a person reaches mind awake/body asleep, but it's not necessary. When you reach that point try an exit technique.

This has happened to me too. From what I've read it is called "Astral Sight" and is common when the astral form and the body are slightly out of sync. In my case, my vision was incredibly detailed! I was staring up at the ceiling through my closed lids and I could see years worth of coats of paint on the ceiling - something normally not noticeable.

Hello Blush and welcome.

You're definitely on the right track. Keep on going!

Werp Weg Alles

Hey, I've recently had several interesting experiences with "seeing" through my eyelids.  I'm not really seeing its something else.  It's hard to describe, but here it goes *deep breath* what happens is as I'm trying to drift off into a light meditation or semi-sleep for a short nap, if I have my hands on say my legs as I drift off, if I place attention on them I can feel them and then I can "see" them.  This is not actually seeing, because usually they'll be doing something, however the picture I see behind my closed eyelids is VERY vivid and look like my hands in exactly what I'm wearing(I tried it with gloves on) but, my hands are on my legs and the hands I see will be doing something(usually left hand making circles and right hand writing) and then if I "look up" from my hands behind my closed eyelids I can see other scenery and usually it looks as though I'm looking out a window.  I really am confused as to what this is and can last anywhere from one quick second to my longest which was around 1 minute.  If anyone has any helpful thoughts or comments I would really appreciate it.

Thanks,
Jake
