So I was sitting at my desk working hard, when i took a min break and put my head down while just gazing at the floor...then I realize that all sorts of images were just popping right out of this multi-tonal carpet.  Im not sure what it's called but its kind where there's a pixelated theme of colors?  its officey i guess...and the lights were dim and boy it was amazing how vivid the images got.  Total recommendation if ya got some!  I think iv done it by staring at wall even...just let it flow!

LOL!  I posted something similar to this loooong ago.  I totally saw a woman fixing her hat in a mosiac tile floor.  Have you ever looked at a stippled or patterned ceiling?

Vvid1012

Yes I believe it was stippled...whenever I was just laying down on my bed and looking at the ceiling. :)
I first learned about scrying when I was staring at this huge old tree covered in leaves...it was fairly dark out and i was just playing with the images I could get out of the tinest amount of color variance

scrying basically is the same thing as the whole crystal ball thing however you can use anything as a medium to find images. usually the images are random however some use them as prediction to future events.

Ahhh right I see... can you scry with your eyes closed then? Don't wanna confuse people, it's just i've never heard about it and i'm curious. :-) I take it this involves an active third eye?

I don't know why or when I started doing the whole scrying thing.  I think it's human nature to find patterns in anything.  I use it when I'm painting....that could be were it started... I stare at a blank canvas for however long..lol  and sooner or later a picture will form and POOF!  I know what I'm painting.

What amazed me about the lady fixing her hat was, she moved.   :-)

I remember when I was a child I saw a scary movie about a house that was haunted.  The women in the movie would lay in bed at night and the wall paper would begin to form faces.  I would have to bury my head under the blanket at night when I stayed at my grandparents home as thay had wall paper like was in the movie.  There is a recent movie that has a good depliction of scrying.  Get the movie 'Cold Mountain'  In the movie Nicole Kidman looks down into a well and sees the images of a fast moving bird and the man she is in love with coming toward her that scares her.  Really good movie.

Texelated patterns can facilitate a light trance
the position of leaning forward while sitting can also cause alternative consciousness

alternatively small confined spaces ie toilets in rest rooms with tessellated floors ie black white tiles
will bring on a light trance and visions and even spontaneous projections

people who are just beginning to see spirit often see them where there are mirrors &  running water , baths pools , spas have a higher vibration of energy conducive to clairience

QuoteThe term scrying, deriving from the English descry--"to make out dimly" or "to reveal"--denotes an ancient art of clairvoyance: concentrating on an object until visions appear. Scrying has been practiced by magicians and Witches through the ages. Among the purposes of scrying are predictions of the future, answers to questions, solutions to problems, help in finding lost objects, and help in tracking down criminals.

The object on which to concentrate is usually a shiny, smooth surface that makes a good speculum, such as the crystal ball used by Gypsy fortune-tellers or the still water of a lake or pond into which many early scryers gazed. Some of the most frequently used objects are mirrors, polished stones or metals, and bowls of liquid. Ink, blood, and other dark liquids were used by the Egyptians for centuries. Bowls of water were used by Nostradamus (Witchcraft Today, by James R. Lewis, copyrighted 1999, p. 264).

Hey thanks for the info!  It's been very interesting lately.  I don't know if anyone else has experienced this, but when I am fairly hung-over it will be very easy it scry.  Iv noticed this the past few times (not a complete alcy :) )  Last time I was just lying in bed and look at the drop-ceilling tiles, and it was perfect.... soo many visions popped seamlessly.  I was wondering if this had anything to do with an over active solar-plexus or something related because my energy was surely focused there from being sickly!
Anyways.. now go get drunk!! lol, j/k

Vvid1012

just discovered another helpful bit of advice.. for me at least.  Instead of using a mirror at first, try using a pane of glass in a dimly lit room.  I was just looking out my window (dusk)gazing on the reflections in my room and they sorta meld with the outside so it gives all kinds of intregration into the vision and woah, my face started changing almost immediately... eerie too ... i had to stop!

Hey, I was wondering if this would be considered a scrying method.  The other day here in Wisconsin we got our first snow fall, I was out in a vehicle during it, and noticed the snow flakes falling and coming towards the windshield.  I focused on one point and just saw all the flakes and things, this put me into a VERY LIGHT trance but was still very cool.  Would this be considered scrying becuase of all the patterns the flakes make, or not?

Vvid1012

ohh I know that feeling when staring at snow!  I would say it were possible...althought the falling snow would make it difficult.  Maybe if it were snowing very hard!  That is a good way to bring yourself into a good mindset, but is not the mindset in itself.

Thanks for the reply, I think I'll stick with trying to phase/astral project and leave the scrying out for now, makes my head spin when I try it  :-o !

The idea is to achieve a light trance bringing on spontaneous visions which begin initially to be patterns seen in shapes like looking at the clouds and seeing rabbits and castles . This method will allow the mind to achieve an altered state of conciousness and become lucid so that the streaming images give messages which may be futuristic visions or pathworking helps .

Thanks, that was what I was doing, however sometimes the "visions" become intense and I start getting dizzy which is what I meant by it makes my head spin.  I've been doing this since I was very young, of course I didn't know what it was back then, just that it was cool.  Thanks for trying to help though.
