The Good Astral Bishop

Met an interesting Dream Character this evening during a nap's Dream.

There was a crowd of refugees and they were really in danger.  One of them became their Leader and Protector, but he was a dubious choice, but if he were to fail, then the entire contingent of Refugees would be slaughtered.  And so I said a little protective prayer for the man and his cause.  Well, then, all of a sudden, this Astral Bishop was standing before me.  Not just a Saint, but this Guy was wearing robes and had jewels in his ring and actually had a large ruby in his Bishop's hat, and perhaps another on his robe front.  But he was congenially smiling – a nice guy.  And what we did was that we both agreed upon a Protective Prayer and then there was this strange instant of a moment in which the Prayer took effect, as though this Astral Bishop 'snapped his fingers' to activate the Protection or whatever.

So the Refugees were protected in their travels and came to their new homes.  They wanted to celebrate and reflect upon their experiences.  Well, I suggested that they shouldn't discuss such things in front of the children, and nearly everybody looked at me with puzzled expressions on their faces.  Then it occurred to me that these people really had no idea of the dangers that they had bypassed because they were saved from them.  They wouldn't have to tell their children that their men folk were saved from slaughter and their mothers and sisters from rape and slavery.  It had not happened, and so they thought they could simply celebrate something of a Long None-eventful Walk.

So I said "Oh, well, what was I thinking?... Never mind".

But it was interesting to know that I have now found that I have something of a Partnership with this really very powerful Astral Bishop.

The next morning, after thinking of this dream for a bit, and how lucky I was to find that I have a new Ally, Sponsor and Friend in this Good Astral Bishop, it suddenly occurred to me that this was not the first time that I had been introduced to a Bishop in my Dreams.  Here, note this dream from September 2001:

I had a Dream that I met with an Astral form of the Pope.  I had just become lucid and noticed that the lucidity deepened as I breathed deeper and more rapidly.  As has become usual, the Lucidity transported me to a new dream scene.  A young girl of whom I had hardly taken any notice (who may have been the Blessed Virgin) spoke to me saying, AThis is the Pope@.  Before me was an extremely angular old man almost devoid of body fat – and, yes, his features were suggestive of Pope John Paul II, but with none of the debilitation of old age or disease, while still being lean and looking very ascetic.   I immediately dropped to my knees in reverence and respect, but the Pope instantly moved to deflect my gesture of homage by pretending to regard my action as I was stooping down as though I had only wanted to sit on the ground, so he simultaneously dropped to the ground with me and sat against a wall  (and this is why I have come to believe that the 'Little Girl" was actually the Blessed Virgin, because in Her presence he could not very well presume to take any honors or respects unto himself).  When we were both seated the Pope said, AWhen I am gone you should follow that man@ and he pointed to a man in white papal robes and an abbreviated Pope=s hat who had been walking up toward us, but still some distance off.  His name was foreign to me C maybe beginning with a C and having two syllables and a >ou= and another c.  I asked if he was going to be the next Pope.  The Pope replied that there would be an 8 to 2 vote and he would be shot and killed.  The man was suddenly there among us (there was now a circle of people), and I almost began to cry, feeling sorry for this man's tragic fate, but, apparently, the Pope thought that would be simply too awkward and so he acted quickly to change the mood.  First, he gave me a tacit signal that this Man he alluded to did not know that he was going to die an untimely death, and so I should not let on what I knew – it would change nothing to make this man aware of his Fate  but it would put a dark cloud over his head.  Next, he gestured for one of his assistants to hand him a >spiritual vision kit= which he affected to have carelessly almost forgotten to award to me (why? To show it is not as important as I would subsequently treat it?), but he reached over and handed it to me with both hands and a slight bow of his head, as though to acknowledge that the moment was indeed important and solemn.  And then he awarded another similar Kit to another man in the Circle.  What can I say about these Kits?  They were small square boxes and came with 12 >jewels= and a list of instructions.  Nine standard jewels were to be installed, but then only one of the remaining three jewels was to be selected depending on which of the Three Spiritual Realms one wished to perceive.

So it is that I think that this new Good Astral Bishop is one and the same as that Man in the Pope Dream, the man I was to follow after the Pope 'would be gone'.  Well, Pope John Paul II has been 'gone' a year now, which would have provided plenty of time for this Good Bishop to have been assassinated by the dark elements within the Church.  Indeed, the Red Rubies that this Good Astral Bishop wear may well symbolize the Blood of Martyrdom.

And it occurred to me that I recognized him.  The regalia of his robes at first confused me – back in the Pope Dream of 2001 this Man wore simple white robes and hat, but now he was in robes of pale-violet-red trimmed in crimson,  and again with those rubies.  But then and now the Man was thin and face long and rectangular, and a straight forehead.

One may wonder why I myself, as I am not the most perfectly orthodox Catholic, why I should receive such special patronage from this Good Astral Bishop.  Well, he was assassinated by that same Church, so maybe he has a certain sense of sympathy for those who are not entirely happy with the Church.

Next, if we focus on the element of the Refugees, then this also becomes part of one of my historical Dream Motifs.  Several years ago I dreamt that some great and future Leader had briefed me on what would happen, that "the People of the Three Mountains would experience drought and famine and would have to be guided to the Lake of Spiritual Waters, and I was shown a map depicting a North Mountain, a Northwest Mountain, and a South Mountain, with the Spiritual Lake just to the East of the South Mountain.  The Map may have corresponded to Russia in the North, Europe in the Northwest, and India and Old Persia in the South.  The Leader was a huge ruddy blood man with pale blue eyes.

Then, several month later I dreamt I was part of a Team assembled to give aid to Refugees.  We had been trained for that contingency, but then, in a dried up riverbed in front of us, the Refugees began to straggle by, and it was no longer a contingency but an actuality.

I take the "People of the Three Mountains" to be 3 Civilizations, or 3 Higher Religions.  The contrast between 'Mountain' and 'Lake' indicate that the Civilizations or Religions had been inherently and basically flawed, if 'Spiritual Water' is the truest necessity.  One does not dig for a well on a Mountain Top.  Perhaps the basic Mistake of the 3 Big Religions or "Mountains" had been an overemphasis on Transcendence, or getting 'above' the World and above the vitalities of Life.  Too much Peace of Mind and not enough actual Love and Charity.

If these Dream Visions correlate to the 2012 Chronology, then we might assume that the Spiritual and Moral Assumptions that could coalesce to make a New Civilization possible will be highly influenced by ideas that now may be found in South Central Asia – Truths that are presently being shadowed by the still popular Religions of Transcendence.

My assumption, then, is that the Religion of the New Civilization ... the Post 2012 Civilization ... will be a kind of Orientalism, but no longer with the element of quietism and escapist meditation.  Oneness won't be seen as a purely metaphysical Truth but as a community and collective actuality.  This is what I can guess.
