Hello everyone:

I have started this section as a central spot for people to post their requests, and for caring people to pray/meditate/send positive thoughts.

If you don't believe in a particular religion, you can still send positive thoughts/energies.

NOTE: This thread differs from the healing section, as it covers a broader range of possibilities. You can ask for prayers/thoughts/blessings/meditations for whatever it is you or someone else need(s): College acceptance, a job, forgiveness, understanding, finding something you're looking for, that a missing child is found, etc.

I have a job interview next week (Monday) and I could really use your prayers. The interview will be at 11am Eastern Time (GMT -0500), so prayers and positive vibes, especially ones sent at that time will be greatly appreciated.

It's a really good opportunity, the pay is good and it's in my field (Graphic Design) which I ache to get back into.

I have another interview tomorrow (different company) and sure could use the prayers again.

Sotty if i am being an abuser by asking this, but can you pray for my girlfriend? She has an uncertain future (job). She is very upset and worried about that. Maybe she got to get out from the country

....life in Portugal is hard as hell. Its the third country of European Union.

Thansk a lot and you can be sure that i will pray for you too guys. Even if i dont want (but i want!!) i will at least pray for 2-3 persons here as a kind of payment

... I mean, i feel that i should give more than what i receive. Thank you!

I called called the lady about the job (with the 42 qualified applicants) and left a message...I got a response today. She said that she called three people back for second interviews and didn't say I was one of them. Oddly enough, she encouraged me to take the civil service test next March (this is a county job), as she said they will be ultimately hiring off that list.

Thank you again for praying for me. I will keep plugging away. I had a phone interview yesterday (with another organisation) for a job which combines my graphic, office and telecom experience, and am hoping that will lead to an in-person interview and an offer. Better yet, there is a State job which I really want the most (a straight-on graphics job) and have all the qualifications for.

Yes, i dont get...did they really prayed?

maybe if they didnt things could get worst

maybe they have such a negative karma (on life, not talking about the karma points here on forums, lol) that their prays will not work or can even be negative (even if they have good intentions). Feel thats the case for me....once i prayed for the mother of a friend...next day she was dead..

So i avoid to pray....i get afraid that i may hurt or kill someone...not kiding

I don't understand why people pray to Jesus, often more than to God. They believe that he is God, another form, but how are they totally sure? There is so much conspiracy around Jesus, wouldn't they have a little doubt? He may be God's son, but if he wasn't, these people would've been praying to Jesus their whole life, and God may not answer the prayers because Jesus was a.. poser, basically. Again, I'm not saying that he is for sure or isn't for sure God's son. It would probably just be best, in my opinion, to pray to God himself to make sure... "BUT I HAVE FAITH!"... Yeah, but your faith should be more in God than Jesus, as more religions include God than Jesus.

Whether or not you believe in Jesus, I am guessing here that you believe in God, since you bothered to post in here, so my question is, do you really believe that God would ignore a prayer because it is directed at someone that may or not be God's direct representative? What kind of God would that be?
