Rumors say that people are dropping like flys these days, new diseases, unexplained deaths, and and whatnot. Some say it is the ever rising frequinses of this planet, (schuman resonance?). 2012 would be the asenscion to 5d?. Yeah yeah i spell like excrement

I beg to differ.  People dropped like flies during plagues, famine and world wars.  There were many more unexplained deaths in history, because we didn't have names for the diseases people were dying of.

In historic times, we were lucky to live to aged 40.

We don't know how bloody privileged we are these days.

I think alot of younger people think they have it bad and hate the world for it.   They have no idea what it means to have it rough.

You talking about the western world?, In Africa children are starving to death, that's sound pretty bad to me, they have the right to hate the world and us of west.

Yeah ADG..that's exactly whom I was referring to...geez.   The kids that get ticked because they don't have the right shoes, or own an IPOD..the ones who whine about life in general because they can't stop for one minute and figure out that the world doesn't revolve around them....those.   I guarantee if the kids these days had to deal with what kids in poverty stricken areas have to deal with, they would stop the whining.

i couldn't agree more.

if you haven't heard about it, and this is your kind of thing, you might want to check out www.invisiblechildren.com

that movie changed my life.
You may say I'm a dreamer, but I'm not the only one. Perhaps some day you'll join us, and the world will live as one.

When I was a kid we had no technology like that; no games consoles, DVD's, TV's in bedrooms and of course no Internet :)

Back then in the cold dark evenings we could look forward to reading a book.

I am sure many kids would have a better appreciation of life as you say if they experienced just a month of the same.

Best regards,

Adrian.

Hehehe..that's cause your as old as time Adrian.

I am sure minds would be change as well.   I blame some parents too.  They give their kids everything without showing them how to appreciate what you get or they buy their love because they either have not time, or don't want to take the time to just BE with their children.  Big thing with us as a family is going camping or just going to the park.  We love nature. :) and of course my kids love playstation and music too, but they appreciate the games and music they have.  :-)

Well I hope I am not as old as time because time does not exist :)

But you are right.  As you know I have been a single father for the last 12 years and I make sure my kids have everything they need to be happy, and that means all the stuff I mentioned before.

But; it has to take a proper perspective. We often go out into the countryside andplace a proper perspective on things; over here is a great place to be for that; in fact it is the main reason I am here.

They also understand all of the inner realities, the true meaning of life, the Universe and everything as well as 2012; so I guess they have a wider perspective than most kids :) Well I say kids, my eldest turns 16 years in a couple of weeks :)

Best regards,

Adrian.

I know what your saying. Im not complaining about my life though, my parent did their best to give us w/e they could. I started working at 14 or 15. I do regret it though, i missed out on a lot. I had to buy my own car and my " ipod" and all that jazz. I have kids in my school get that stuff just for doing good on report cards.

So now we're talking about parents using kids for slave-labor?

so what, when kids today grow up and have kids they'll be the ones saying how harder it was before hoverboards and teleporters came about...

and those saying "when i was a kid we didnt have tv's or xbox's" well granted, but neither were you at risk of being burned at the stake for thinking for yourself...

imo as physical life has become more convienient, spiritual life has become more distorted and confused,
think about the movie braveheart when people lived simple lifes on hillsides and had no ideas of being a celebrity or rockstar or any of that, today its ALL ABOUT BEING SOMEBODY important, and being noticed,
look at the complete losers you see on shows like popidol... kids like that dont have it easy if they are that dissilusioned. People dont know who they are today- no-one builds there own identity... they just copy table trash celebrities and religiously follow trends.

the things which your saying make it easier for todays youth are actually the things which disconnect them from the more important reality.

if god dies, were all f*cked.

HUH?  That scale is silly..sorry.

Quotemo as physical life has become more convienient, spiritual life has become more distorted and confused,

I've never seen Braveheart but I can say that they did not live simple lives..  A life back then was all about trying to survive pretty much from day to day.  There were no McDonalds to go to when hungry and you had to fight to keep your land constantly.  Woman and children did mostly the "housework".  They didn't have time to worry about being able to go to the mall or play a video.  They were spending hours and hours doing hard labor.  I totally agree about today people are all about ego.  It ticks me off to no end to hear of some celebrity making millions for a stupid movie when our teachers are paid near nothing, thus making them not bothering to really help and teach our children.

And what about the pro sports people..GRRRRRRRR...how dare you make that much money for playing a game when our nurses are way under paid for the nasty work they have to do.  Ego and greed has taken over the world and it disgust me.  OH.. and don't get me started on Madonna going a buying some baby when we have many, many children here that need homes..  It reeked of her trying to "look" good in the public..she thought hey, if brad and jolie can do it and get good press, so can I.... ugh.

GRRRRRRRRRRRR.....ok done.  :-D

Gee, I could go all day talking about the culture today. Sheesh, but getting back to topic. 2012 being cataclysmic? I hadn't heard that before.
