Finding Money... useless

When i was younger in particular i used to have dreams all the time of finding caches of old coins. most of the times the coins were all different sizes and shapes, lots were square and rectangular, i was always amazed that they were so old looking, i thought they were worth a fortune,........ then i woke up. when i had these dreams i had never seen or heard of square or rectangular coins. years later i saw really old sqaure and rectangular coins in a museum.



has anyone else had dreams of finding coins???

I dream sometimes that I find 2 dollars and 1 dollar coins - SO MANY!!!! - on the ground, outside, in shopping malls... no one sees the money or if they see it they don't want to lower themselves to collect it, while I do.
I do so happily and without shame.

They are modern coins, usable.

Although I haven't dreamed the "money" dream for many years now, it used to be a fairly regular one.

lol same i used to find loonies and normal coins too. once you find one you just keep finding them lol. also i havn't had this dream for a while but i used to have it all the time. maybe we have outgrown our greed somewhat?

It money means money here, one may be truly lacking in that department. So, in this case, the dream would be the fulfillment of a legitimate desire.

No offense taken LOL...

If the dream is not litteral, it may mean this :

- appreciating small things that are "free" and that are usually not appreciated/considered by the average Joe

In your case (in case or rare coins) :

- finding yourself with something rare, something precious, that may have no practical usefulness in the immediate time frame (you can't buy anything with the coins), and for which you feel you have not done anything special to "get", just been lucky (you just found the coins).

I find it interesting that you eventually saw these coins in a museum.

In my case though I would say that it is greed indeed.

Haha thats funny, this type of dream is simply ridiculous to me because you spend all of your time in the dream collecting money which has no uselfulness to you at all, you cant keep it when you wake up, and then you get ticked off when you wake up because you just spent so much time picking up imaginary coins. its like scrambling around to collect money as fast as you can inside a sealed building thats about to explode in 5 minutes and kill you. we are truly idiots lol...

Forget coins... if you want to speak about disappoitment here, here is 1 recurrent dream I used to have :

I find LOADS OF CASH (paper money, a mix of 5-dollar bills with... as high as 100-dollar bills !) in my own appartment or bedroom. The money is mine and I had forgotten about it. I wake up to find that I am still broke.

I have never dreamed about finding money. I guess because money doesn't mean much to me. In fact even when I was poor it didn't mean much.

I use to dream alot about finding my true love, and then one day I did!

well my dreams of the sort usually show me something thats gonna happen that i could use to get monetary profit. for instance i have a dream that someone who wants to smoke weed for the first time comes to me asking how much it costs to get it and i go to the dealer then a voice whispers "you could buy it for 5 and charge 10". so when it happens for real i go to the guy and tell him 2 blunts worth would be 20 dollars, go to the dealer and pay 10 and get a 10 dollar profit for nothing. being psychic has its advantages.
