Lack of explanation (geocities and tripod sites)

The problem with writing about years of slow, painful training is that it does not tend to have much of a following. Worse, after having completed decades of this sort of training a person does not tend to want to go online and post information and submit it to search engines. It seems to be one or the other. Then there are people who have enormous natural talent who want to try to tell other people who do not have the same abilities so close to the surface how to go about it. It often sounds like "just do it" and three words are hard to stretch into twenty or thirty pages. If you want the real information, you will probably have to use libraries, book stores online, and classes located physically near you.

That brings me to another question. Where can I find some psychic classes? Just wondering...maybe it could help?

No amount of rigorous training, sitting and doing nothing, and clearing one's mind can help a man who hasn't overcome his doubts.

Is the problem that there is nowhere near you where you can go physically for the purpose of taking classes? It is possible that if you were to give an area of the world within which classes would be accessible that we could help you look. It would be more of a yoga or tai chi or chi kung class than specific to psychic abilities, probably, but it would be helpful.

My 16y.o. niece achieved a black belt in Karate at the age of 14 when she was living in Japan. Now she is living in the US, and is about to achieve a black belt in Taekwon-Do. She started Karate at age 10. She's a natural, and with her talents she quickly surpassed others of her age.

Despite her young age, she was taught Karate in the traditional ways, for the traditional purposes - as a way of life - for the balancing of mind, body and spirit. She went on to another dicipline in the US because the local Karate schools seemed to be only interested in teaching people how to posture, pose and how to fight better, and she wanted no part of that. Her new teacher is a former coach of the Korean olympic Taekwon-Do team. He teaches the traditional methods, again, as a way of life, not as just a fighting or self defence technique which seems to be the way of many modern martial arts schools.

Energy work, like Karate is not about learning how to throw energy balls at people, it is about learning a way of life that is beneficial and enlightning, of which ki balls and the like should only be a side effect, not the purpose.

It seems to me that you won't find much good information on the web because the people who truly understand the ways of our energy body, and have grasped ki techniques, are not about to teach some newcomer how to make enegy balls to throw at people. The ones that do are, like the US Karate schools my niece rejected, only interested in posing and posturing.

No offence here towards Auraseer. He seems someone who has discovered a natural gift that few people have, which could make it difficult for him to translate into methods that most can follow.

i agree with james and tom.

but as for not being able to use energy in combat because it is too slow to use: i disagree. you just have to get used to the energy and get used to being able to use it quickly. it took me 6 months to be able to feel the energy at all times without so much as concentrating. now, 6 years later, i can use energy as easily as i can breathe, as i can walk. using it in a fight would be just as natural for me as punching or kicking someone. but that isn't because of natural talent, it is because of the training i went through, that i put myself through.

anyone can learn, but it takes time and effort, an open mind and an able spirit. :) . as for places not having good explainations, that why these forums are here, no? now you have asked, and if you ask more clearly what you want to know, some of us can help you. [|)] (i like that smilie, but i don't like that it's called sleepy. i'd rather call it the "See. Wasn't that easy/fun/good?" smilie.;))

Hi.

Don't you just find it annoying how you search for seemingly FOREVER and NEVER find a good website that teaches ki/psi techniques? For example, www.psipog.net has the most fantastic techniques out there, the only drawback are the occasional arrogant comments that come from mainly the administrators.

Then theres websites like the Underground Society, where the teachers could have a 50-50 chance of actually knowing how to use energy and not knowing jack all about it. They go around with their wacky DBZ techniques that don't even work and inspire scrawny nerds like myself to use things like "jing blasts" to beat up people. The truth is, the jing blast DOES exist, but using it that quickly in the middle of a fight is near impossible. A fight causes so much chaos within the mind it is improbable that people could concentrate on moving ki, transforming it to jing, and doing all that crazy DBZ crap to "hurt" their opponent.

Most websites are on tripod or geocities and the like. The reason for this is obvious - it's free! But the lack of explanation within the websites would annoy any beginning ki trainee to insanity. There are websites that get techniques from random wacky McDojo idiots that use DBZ to create their retarded fantasies. Although most sites do have techniques that WORK, they hardly even EXPLAIN ANYTHING! I mean they go, step 1, do this, step 2, do that, etc. Most sites don't even explain the etheric body, not even what the freaking dan-tien even is.

Plus the authors of most of these sites write like 4 year olds. They also make up stuff, like 4 year olds. In fact, I wouldn't be too surprised if they really WERE 4 year olds!! All this DBZ stuff like levitation and crap could be possible, but the lack of explanation turns it from reality into a thing called IMAGINATION.

Now for my rant on ki blasts. Using them in combat is impossible. There is just too much chaos in a fight to actually use energy that quickly. Now I'm sure you've all seen some tae kwon do master get kicked in the nuts and not feel a thing, because his chi protected him. Let's see Mr. Miagi get slapped on the ear, poked in the side, and THEN kicked in the twig n' berries. By creating chaos in the mind, one cannot focus on using energy in such a way.

Sure you could snipe someone with a ki blast, but from a distance it is nothing but weak. I also have yet to see photos of auraseer's supposed dents in his wall from doing jing blasts. The fact is, as ki travels through the air it weakens and disintegrates, unless you program it to have a hard shell. Even if you did a good one from a distance, you'd simply damage their aura and etheric body a bit, making them feel sick maybe a week or two later. Also you'd look like a DBZ fanatic, which most people who write such pathetic energy sites are.

This may sound biased, even unreasonable to some, but the fact remains that there is little or no HARD facts about energy out there. Sure I've seen pics, but there aren't enough. Auraseer should post pics of his "dents" in his wall if he really wants people to believe he can jing blast. Most websites are 90% not explained properly, fluffy, overexaggerated and simply not true! I mean if you're going to teach something, teach it properly. Don't let other crazies email you with any special techniques, and for GOD'S SAKE LEARN TO WRITE!!! What's the point of reading an article when it's like trying to understand baby talk for crying out loud.

Now I know there are many people like auraseer (as much as I might've made bad points about him here) that actually DO know a bit about the energy. But if people like that want to make themselves recognized and to actually teach people they should write proper articles, explaining things as if explaining to the utter newbie.

Thanks for reading my rantings, it just pisses me off ya know!!

P.S. - website under heavy construction, but visit it some time (http://serge564.tripod.com/menu.html)
